I stayed in Visaya hotel for 2 nights, the hotel staff is amazing in serving but they should do something with regards to room cleaning which is not up to the mark. Rest all was really good.

Room Tip: The room are good enough in size.

This is an elegant, classy hotel which I would happily stay at again and again.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean. There is a well-stocked mini bar, tea and coffee making, abundant hot water, and if there is anything you need the service is prompt and friendly. Wifi is an extra charge, but if used as they advise, it is not expensive.
The staff are really friendly and helpful, in all areas of the hotel.
The restaurant and outdoor area is quiet, calm and relaxing, and the food is delicious.
The hotel is a little out of the way, but auto rickshaws and taxis are easy to obtain. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay (five days) and look forward to returning.

Well, it was a disappointment. Its looks a family run guest house, like a paying guest service. The Management seems to have different opinions about there hotel, as some said its a 4 star hotel??? some said a its a family run boutique hotel.

Well, whatever it is? its needs renovation and much much better standards of Housekeeping to stand in any category of hotels, the rooms are smelly, have broken furniture, torn in room dinning menu booklet, stain toilets and basins, very old and used towels, uncleaned glasses, the curtain and window looks like has not been cleaned for a long time, the AC control panel doesn't seem to work and it it becomes a problem when you cannot adjust temperature according to your need.

The In room dinning is just average, according to the price charged, it can be much better. The buffet breakfast which they serve needs to be improved and also the attitude of the staff, they all look very frustrated and tired, an rare sight to see in any hotel, however the front office staff does try to make some impression, however they cannot do much as lot of things are lacking in this hotel, where the higher management needs to step in to change the whole scenario??

The WIFI was not working, lately when it was available, it came with a high cost.

Its certainly not, what it looks in picture, lot need to be done to satisfy traveler and guest in every category. Then there service will speak automatically to let people know what category there hotel is?

Room Tip: Try to get a clean room.

Nice place for a short visit - ordering internet is outrageously expensive and it wasn't available anyway when I was there. The Indian food is outstanding. Interior decoration is very tasteful. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. A pretty quiet place to stay.

I don't like to rant and grumble, but well... this place left much to be desired. Their web-page boasts high speed WiFi connectivity on the list with other free amenities, however you'll be surprised to discover that it costs 100rs per hour. A rate that's really exorbitatnt, not to mention that majority of hotels at this price point (and below!) offer WiFi for free.

After complaining to the manager (who often comments on the reviews) I got an access key for free (which is the main reason I upped the stars in the review). That said - it worked only for few hours on the third day of my stay. On these ground I can only say that if you wish to stay connected whilst staying in this hotel - bring a handful of homing pigeons.

Other aspects - rooms are clean and well supplied, however you can see quite a lot of wear and tear and rather shoddy repairs carried over the years. Mos of the walls had some patches of fillings over original marble, random holes and crack. Nothing major really, but it does detract from the overall experience. Furthermore some more essential facilities were damager - showerhead, some electric sockets. etc. A quick one-over by staff would quickly identify those. but it seems attention to detail isn't their strongest point. Perhaps that explains an electric socket right in the middle of the headboard of the bed... if you want to keep your phone charged and at hand you have to be rather careful, or you risk strangulation by a power adapter.

Service - a bit of mixed bag. I didn't find it as bad as some of the other reviewers, it was not top notch either, though some of the guys were genuinely nice. Same goes for restaurant - you can do better by eating out in the area.

On the upside - it was quite and is very well located. Literally a 5 min walk to Hauz Khas, so you can spare yourself the trouble of haggling with rickshaw drivers.. I also like the decoration style, one of the more tastefully done hotels i've seen in India. If they kept to this standard it would be perfect.

Room Tip: Say way from the street - garden facing rooms are quiet.

The hotel is very nice, staff is friendly (For me as a German sometimes too friendly as I'm not used to it :) ). Breakfast is good and even after 1 month it didn't get boring as it varys from day to day. Rooms are nice and pretty large, bed was also good. Even the rooms facing the street were very quiet.
Only drawbacks are:
- It seems like some rooms have a small balcony, however you can't open the door to get out as it's just for decoration with some plants on it. Would be awesome if you could also use it as a balcony
- I was there for 1 Month and it happened 3 times that the WiFi was not working reliable
All in all I can definitely recommend this hotel

Room Tip: Rooms in lower floors have higher Water pressure in the shower
