Owner description: The focus of this open-air memorial to Mahatma Gandhi is a black marble platform marking the place where the peace leader was cremated after his assassination in 1948. It's a peaceful, beautiful site; memorial ceremonies are held on Fridays.

The location at which Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, a park area near the Gandhi Memorial Museum. The area is very peaceful and well tended to, there's a flame and memorial plinth.

I was surprise to find Ghandis tomb here.. its a very quiet modest place with not much fanfare, but its very nice to see.. well worth a quick visit and the Ghandi Museum is right nearby.

This area displays where his cremation monument sits. Nice lawn and just a peaceful place. It does't display any pictures of him or anything, just his resting monument.
