The Folconda Bowl is One of the best places in New Delhi to have Authentic Hyderabadi Cuisine. I will in-fact say its a tribute to this culinary art. One must try the uniquely prepared PATHHAR KA GOSHT, GOSHT HALEEM and the BIRAYANI.

Even though not publicised much, the place is wonderful for traditional Hyderabadi cuisine. Suggest to tell the server about your ability to take spices and chillies to have that perfect food.

The Pathar ki Machli and Biryani is delectable. You can order in advance and do some shopping around before you reach the place.

I have visited this place once. The food was ok. The service was certainly good but for the price the quantity is not commensurate. The food was also ok, nothing that we had was bad but it wasn't great also. Certain items did not have that authentic taste.

Tried Pathar ka gosht ,which is mutton pounded with spices and cooked on charcoal. That was the star dish . Their Kache Biryani was also good.

The Manager was courteous and service was good . The only drawback is the way to the restaurant which is a small alley. However there is parking facility and the restaurant is spacious with large table and chairs.

Wanted to try biryani after I hit Delhi, Sikkim doesn't have a good place for biryani... Mutton biryani had to be eaten, the ambience was alright but not something you would want to appreciate, the starters so so, the kala pathar bit tangy both chicken and mutton. Waited eagerly for the biryani finally, washed my hands and one bite it melted.. Thumps up to the mutton, chicken was bit over flavored... Not happy with the raita.. I like it thick.. Overall would like to come back just for mutton biryani.. Rest aside.. Didn't try the deserts...
