“Nice hotel, rude staff”
Reviewed 1 August 2014 via mobile

The Hotel was nice but rude staff. We arrived at the hotel and went directly to the reception and the receptionists didnt even greet and welcome us. we are standing infront of them and as if we didnt exist. We just stayed for few hours only to wait for our flight and even when we left " No Thank you" and we just left thinking how rude the staff are. The restaurant is purely vegetable so not recommended for non veg.people.

Nice place. Clean and pretty spacious. We really liked the vegetarian restaurant on the ground floor. The staff was friendly and nice.

The streets behind the hotel were not super nice... The room was quite expensive too but still acceptable given that we are talking about Delhi.

the property is Quiet and good. the staff is very courteous and EVER SMILING.
They go out of their way to see that the guests are comfortable.

Though being a veg restaurant only.(which i liked ) as i am a vegetarian too. the food quality was good. They can still improve on this a bit...

all in all a very happy experience on the whole

We stayed here whilst touring the Golden Triangle and this was our first stop in Delhi having flown here after spending two weeks in a beach hut on a beach in Goa. First of all the good points, it is reasonably priced and the room was fine, definitely a big step up from our beach hut, it was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. However, it's not all good. The food was TERRIBLE, just beyond awful. We ordered standard vegetarian Indian food and we had to send it back because it was just inedible mush served with re-headed rubbery bread, absolutely disgusting. Breakfast wasn't much on an improvement either to be honest. Come on, this is India, the whole country is full of amazing food, clearly there is huge room for improvement here. Oh, and lastly, the pool was empty and in a terrible state, so don't expect to spend your time sunning yourself there any time soon. Overall, as the title says, really not impressed.

The hotel is pretty good value for the money. The room is nice and the bed quite comfortable (the best I got in India).

But I didn't like the breakfast that much (doesn't seem very fresh), also the restaurant is vegetarian only.

I stayed at this hotel both pre and post my Intrepid 'comfort' tour for a number of days. My room was large and very clean. Rooms are in great condition and in general the hotel was of higher quality than hotels Ive experienced on other tours. Its located right near the metro station but for a solo female traveller I was a bit hesitant to use this by myself and opted for a driver instead - booked through the tour desk - which was very easily and reasonably priced. I would stay again and recommend this hotel.
