We spent one night at the Imperial in December. it was our last night in Delhi and we enjoyed every minute of this luxurious hotel that takes you back to another era. The service is excellent, the food delicious and the rooms very comfortable. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We staye in a very large heritage room however I looked at the smaller art deco rooms and I would be...

My recent visit to the Imperial was for my birthday lunch at the restaurant, Spice route. It was a wonderful experience as the entire family had a private area and service that was very personal, prompt and yet not overbearing. The food was just right with special needs being taken into consideration for each member. The meal was rounded off by having Tea and Coffee in the lounge. Once again excellent service and attention to detail.

Having used the hotel for dining many times in the recent past I would say that they are, relatively speaking, consistently good in food, service and getting the finer points right. They may be far from inexpensive but they do offer what one expects when one pays for luxury.

I recently stayed at the Imperial and was impressed by the high quality of the service in general, and in particular by the quality of the dining options at the hotel. I was entertaining business partners and looking for good restaurants in Delhi but I realized I need look no further than the several outstanding restaurants at the Imperial itself. We chose Spice Route one night, and San Gimignano the next. Both were top notch experiences and it took the worry out of entertaining for me. My clients, who are Indian, appreciated my hosting them at such fine restaurants. The Imperial is well regarded for its service in general but it should be equally highly rated for the quality of its food and beverage offerings which set it apart from other hotels in the city. Weekend brunch there is also not to be missed!

We didn't stay here, we made the mistake of staying in corus hotel. But we went here for drinks and dinner in the 1911 bar. Great decor, excellent service, good range of cocktails, drinks and food (both indian and western). Great for a special evening. Not cheap, but worth it for a treat!

We had a fantastic stay at the Imperial as part of our honeymoon and it was a lovely treat. We booked into a standard room but we got upgraded to a Grand Heritage Room which was pretty impressive with a lovely large room and bathroom. Richa was amazing in making sure everything was in order and even organised a lovely cake in celebration of our honeymoon.

We also booked into the Spice Route restaurant as we had heard so much about it. Though the food was lovely and cooked beautifully we expected more unique dishes and this was a slight dissapointment. The restaurant itself and the service was exceptional.

The best part of the hotel were the lovely beds, these were very comfortable and we probably had our best nights sleep here. And this followed by the fantastic buffet breakfast started our day of perfectly.
