The management of this hotel has taken all efforts to present an impression of a truly ‘Imperial Hotel”. Indeed this is a lovely hotel, as expected from a luxury hotel- Courteous staff, quiet rooms and attentive staff. Perhaps, these are justification of the slightly overpriced rooms?. In my stay in hotels all over the world, I am increasingly looking at the issue of safety – in designing the hotel rooms. I stayed four days this hotel- I tried to avoid flooding the bathroom, every day in vain. A design flaw of the bath tub- makes the water from your shower flow to the bath room. Soap water on the marble floor of the bathroom is a deadly trap. If you are an elderly beware!. I am curious, how many, customers must have slipped down and hurt in this hotel? While checking out, I tried to give a polite feed back to the check out clerk. Her smirk was priceless!

Our trip to Delhi was to experience India, their culture and to visit Agra to see the Taj Mahal. We stayed at the Imperial for 2 days and was given a taste of years gone by, the old and new combined to give guests that unique feeling of the old India. Our room and the facilities were beautiful, the bed a king size was very comfortable and inviting. The service was overwhelmingly traditional, an experience in itself, dining rooms offered a variety of cultures as well as English. the hotel offered spa services which I did not use, but did use the magnificent pool. The staff facilitated our tour guides contact with us in an easy manner which enhanced our overall visit. The only adverse comment would be to visit India I
during their winter months ie Australia's summer months.

Room Tip: Our room was a standard and met all our needs

A group of us popped in to the 1911 bar here on our last day in India. We had been trekking in the Himalayas so we were complete with backpacks, some in shorts etc. They did not blink an eye lid. The place is extremely elegant a real taste of the brits in India. The prices were about uk levels even including the ridiculously high local taxes. It was an experience not to be missed.

This hotel is just amazing - it looks like a British Palace or the Queen House . Amazed about the high standard of service that i ve never seen anywhere else. The staff are so hospitable with a passion to serve. Food is amazing - I tried the Indian restaurant and the Euro bar.
It was my first time to India and the location of the hotel was just perfect within 5 mins drive to anything mainly.

Well done and Thank you
