as most meridiens, this was great. only complaint was feeling a tad bit of vertigo on the 21st floor. up to meridien standards and much roomy than the ones in Paris

Room Tip: tres comfy beds and pillows. if you are subject to vertigo, request a lower floor

We have stayted for one night beg of July during our 2 weeks trip in India. We have used the hotel as our basis for our day trip to Taj Mahal. The hotel is not far away from the airport and close to main attraction of New Delhi. The hotel is located in a nice and quite area of the City
next to other 5 star hotels.

We had a room on the 18th floor with nice view. The room is not huge but has a good size for two persons plus a baby cot. The rooms is nicely decorated with all amenities offered by
a 5 star hotel.

It is more like a business style hotel which used as well by airlines staff for their stay.

The lobby of the hotel is very nice and very modern with a different style than other hotels.

Nice breakfast with a variety of products and food both continental and Indian.
The hotel has a great buffet which we have tried during dinner which was lovely and included
as well tiger prawn which we did not found in other hotels.

Same as other 5* hotels it is expensive as one person buffet dinner will around Euro 30pp.
Also there is no free wifi and is chargable on a rather high rate.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Breakfast was excellent with wide selections in Western, Indians and bakery items. Rooms are smaller than the current standard as the hotel was originally built about 25 years ago. It was recently fully renovated. Overall, excellent stay

The hotel is good. In fact nothing special with other 5 stars hotel. Location is quite strategic where traffic is not too close to the center part of New Delhi, Connaught Place. Good place to put up meeting with clients and visiting outdoor. I'm paying US$300+ per night which i think should get much better than this. At least something "Grand, Astonishing or Jaw-dropping" service/design.

Room Tip: Get as high floor as possible.

Stayed here for work in June, the 3rd time this year. Its a decent hotel, with good breakfast, the hotel bar is over priced and usually devoid of life. Good service, and a fair location, near Connaught Place..still an hour plus to the airport by car though. Got very bored of the Tom and Jerry Cartoons that have been playing for 6 months straight, they are hard to avoid, near every elevator entrance. Easy late 4pm checkout with Starwood Gold.

Your Bill: India has an amazing array of taxes that go on your hotel bill...but thats an entirely separate matter..Indian bureaucracy at its best.

We stayed at the Starwood Preferred Rooms for 4 days at the Hotel. The experience with the hotel staff was excellent right from airport pickup to airport drop while leaving.
Talking specifically about the hotel, it is located in a very good area close to Connaught Place and Rajpath. I expected the Hotel Staff to be a little stiff in a French Hotel Chain, but was pleasantly surprised.
The rooms on the 17th floor are large, which a lot of space in the corridors. 4 transparent lifts ensure that one can move quickly across floors. Access to thelounge also meant having breakfast with family in a quiet ambience, trying out the multiple cuisines offered by the hotel. The Lounge was available throughout that day for net access, as well as reading good international newspapers, an odd juice if required and virtually personalized service. The staff across the hotel was very friendly, willing to sort out and help at any time. The circular swimming pool is very nice, bluish green above the reception with the deep area only in the middle of the pool. I also went for a Shirodhara massage which was great, but more pricey than expected. The steam /sauna facilities are also good. If one wants to talk a walk, one can easily roam around the lush green campus in the evenings or take a stroll outside the hotel. Food at the hotel is needless to say, great.

Room Tip: A Starwood Preferred Room/room facing the Rajpath
