Beautiful hotel right near Connaught Place. The only thing that i could say negative about this hotel is that the pool is not private which is why i imagine that nobody including myself was swimming in it despite the heat. Everyone from staff, to diners to anyone in the reception area can see straight through to the pool area therefore privacy is not an option. Beautiful food in the Indian resturant. Great breakfasts, exceptional rooms.

This is a fine hotel backed by outstanding service. The courteousness and warmth of the staff are genuine, and not artificial. The staff were understanding and left us to ourselves whenever we wanted, but were always nearby and on call when we wanted, even in the middle of the night. However, this overall level of courteousness was absent in the reception. Though they were efficient, they lacked warmth and at times one felt they were unrepentant or even deliberately silently rude. They locked me out of my room be deactivating my electronic card twice, and I had to go down to reactivate it. This was done without any intimation. The last thing one wants when one is back from a day long trip to Agra is being locked out. However, the guy in the reception did not even have the courtesy to apologize or give an explanation as to why this was done, this despite us booking the hotel room for a whole week. First time around he assured that the card is activated till our date of departure, but promptly two days later the incident was repeated, much to our discomfiture. Again one had to go down to get it reactivated, and again there was no explanation, nor apology, despite my reminding him of his promise to have it kept activated till we depart. But on both occassions, housekeeping staffs who saw our plight, called up the reception from the nearby room, took permission and opened the door with their master key. This was much appreciated. Other irritant was wi-fi connectivity. They have schemes which meant you can log in only once. For example if you take a 24 hour package, then you need to used your wi-fi uninterruptedly. Once you log out, then you cant log back in. At least that is what was told to us. It would be better if the hotel were to offer a 24 hour package that can be used anytime during the stay, and facilitating any number of log ins. Despite having i phone and i pad, I was forced to be off www for a week. This is unacceptable in today's connected world. Other than this, the stay was excellent, food very good and we would definitely return to this hotel and would be only pleased to recommend to any other traveller

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in October and were very pleased with the hotel. It is clean and refreshing and the service is brilliant. Staff go out of their way to be accommodating and were very helpful when meeting out personal needs. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family who want to stay near to the gurdwaras. Excellent stay!!!

We stayed at the MET in the second week of October..The MET at Connaught place is located in a central location with easy accessibility to nearby shopping markets and eating joints..One can cover few tourist places like Rashtrapati Bhavan, India gate by taking an auto rickshaw or a scooter auto which are easily available near the hotel area..The buffet breakfast in the hotel was adequate and the hotel staff were very accommodating in allowing us an early check in..The room size was decent..Overall our stay was pleasant and comfortable.
