Food served were all of excellent quality. Breakfast layout at the cafe was quite a treat, elaborate and of great quality.
Service was quite a disappointment as the waiters were running all over the floor and it felt bad to me to order for anything as they already looked very pre-occupied. Few orders I made apparently took longer.
However there was a manager (forgot his name!) was very kind, attentive and took time out to explain few of the specialties.
The pricing though are higher than other hotels but the service I must say did not match up.

Great hotel - everything you'd expect from Hyatt. The staff are very attentative, sometimes to the point of being too much and can be almost invasive if you're just looking to be able to sit and relax or have a conversation without being constantly checked in on. The leisure facilites here are really great and the gym staff were very helpful and really made our visit.

The food is in general excellent and the hotel offers an evening buffet / self service style option which I'd highly recommend. the only issue I found was that although food is served up to around 11pm, from about 10 onwards they stop refreshing to food and so if you're working until late eating can be an issue.

The italian restaurant was very dissapointing, the food was very expensive even by european standards and the quality just wasn't there. I had to send my food back twice. The menu is ok, but the table staff struggled understanding the menu, which is in italian. They claim to have created a genuine authentic italian experience, but have failed - the restaurant caters well to locals looking for something that feels authentic, but isn't really up to the high standard of the rest of the hotel.

Hyatt Regency Delhi is an excellent hotel with a great locatioin but I do have some peeves...the food is not right up there with the best....room service options are more limited than say the Grand Hyatt Mumbai

I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of February and I must congratulate the hotel on the excellence of service. The staff could not do enough for you. When we wanted chicken tikka and the tray was empty the chef went out of his way to cook more and bring it beautifully presented to our table. The buffet was delectable! So much choice. The bedroom was very comfortable and I have never before experienced such beautiful pillows. Are they duck down? I had an excellent night's sleep. I would certainly stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights after our visit to Goa. It is near the airport. We had a suite which was very pretty and well stocked with tea and coffee. Our room was on the upper floor so it was nice and quite and at times I forgot the hotel is near a major road. We didn't get the chance yo try the breakfast as on both days we left the hotel very early however dinner at the cafe was adequate on both nights obviously catered for a wider palette.

The check in process could have been faster as apparently we had booked ourselves into some Club Class thing so we were whisked to some higher floor to check in. It took the two members of staff forever to check us in. One of them was also persistent that we take the breakfast and club package which was useless to us as we were neither using the business lounge nor going to be around for breakfast both days. They even managed to make a mess of charging our card and this caused our bank to block the card and we had to call them to have it released.

We went out of a wander one evening and were surprised that there weren't other restaurants or anything as such nearby. It was also a very scary walk mind you.

However this does not take away from the fact that it is a nice place to stay.

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor for less noise
