I was lucky that I got upgraded to a spacious suite. IT was spacious, well equipped and really offered space for small meetings.
The flip side was that I was told that it was too late to order dinner at around 1045 pm.
The breakfast fare was ordinary and the place was crowded.
The coffee shop was more spacious, but the staff was more keen to shoo people who were attending a conference away

Check in is erratic. Nice spacious rooms but need lot of maintenance. The buffet breakfast is lavish but substandard and dinner buffet is bad. Swimming pool is nice and well maintained but small. The location is very good if you have work in central Delhi but there no metro station very closeby.

This hotel is a stigma on 5-star hotels. This is one of the oldest property/hotel in Delhi, it is indeed a very beautiful hotel but the staff here is pathetic. They have this attitude "we don't care about our guests, we are there and we will be there".

Almost all the exhibitions in Delhi are held in The Ashok, so we are kind of regular at their hotel, and mostly we stay there because there are no other hotels in the vicitnity.

I handle operations for my company to it is kind of daily affair for me to deal with staff at hotels bu the staff is the most ill-mannered, impolite and rude.

Although it is my constraint to stay here because of the exhibitions but if you have options please don't stay in this hotel.
