We visited this place after recommendation from the lonely planet. You'll see all the injured birds receiving medical care and as you carry on to the roof you see the birds that have been released after making a full recovery. Its wonderful to see the dedication shown here to all injured birds. Donations are appreciated!

I had visited this place as a kid with my mother, when she had located an injured bird. I visited this place after a long time again and was touched to see hundreds of birds…some with broken wings, some unconscious, and some fit and fine to face the world again. Do visit this place to appreciate the noble task being carried on by this charity hospital.

It's not really an attraction but a must to realize the true humanity. Located in the premises of Jain Temple, it further emphasizes the true meaning of non-violence and "live and let live". The birds are kept with utmost care and let free once they are cured. In case you find an ailing bird reach out to them and they would take good care! Help the birds, they are more needy..

Everybody these days talk about loving animals; few talk about loving birds and still few actually do care about them. Charity Birds Hospital situated in the Jain Temple campus is a stone's throw away from the Red Fort.

Every year, thousands of birds get treated for free. But mind it, they are not given away as pets. Instead they are released in their natural habitat after they are cured. Birds are born to fly and this is what the people here believe. Please give them your support. Even a dollar or pound is enough to feed hundreds of birds everyday. Infact, even you can feed these birds. If you don't want to donate, you can still help them by visiting the hospital. Entry is free for all.
