“Extremely interesting”
Reviewed 1 February 2014

Even though most of the exhibits come from the North of the country, it is very enlightening. Gives an idea of different ways of life and crafts.

“Little known surprise”
Reviewed 20 January 2014

Crafts Museum is one of the underrated tourist spots in Delhi. With many houses of arts and culture, the place has potential for attracting more people, it needs advertisement. Museum showcases different art styles of India, one can see wall paintings from different states. There is one village section that shows village lifestyle. One can enjoy live folk music and dance in the open area around which there are craft shops from different regions of India. Indoor section has some historical artifacts above which is textile section. Problem is insufficient lighting and unplanned orientation of sections. You can buy some souvenir in souvenir shop.

“Wonderful museum, great store”
Reviewed 19 January 2014 via mobile

The museum has terrific exhibits with good signage. Craftsmen (dancers, weavers, pottery makers, etc.) dot the courtyard. The museum unfolds into more and more rooms, with cultural explanations in addition to explanations about the various crafts. There's a large outdoor area with examples of different types of houses in rural India. The store was a real find. High quality at reasonable prices, with helpful and friendly staff.

“Must see for art-lovers!”
Reviewed 16 January 2014

If you are an art lover, this is a must see place! The many artists, which different styles, taught me much about the different art styles in different parts of India. I even purchased two paintings. I'll definitely visit again.

“Must visit if you are in Delhi”
Reviewed 20 December 2013

The place is so nice ,will take you to the ancient era.
Its a walk to the past ,and a Great Place to be!!
All in one here you can interact within craftsmen from different part of India.
They also have traditional hut of different tribes and regions made.
There was live music being played by traditional musician and his wife.
A good museum but also a chance to buy local jewelry, ornaments and paintings.
Not like other places ; they have friendly and courteous staff, neat toilets with disable access.

Will go again for sure...!!
