This is one of the finest Mughal building of its time. Recently it has been renovated by Agha Khan Trust. Winter is the best time to visit all the historical buildings of Delhi. Taj Mahal is made as a replica of this building in marble, only four minarets have been added at the four corners in the Taj Mahal. Not only Humayun, but his wife is also buried here apart from many other subsequent Mughal rulers. The tomb has very intricate jali work in marble. There is another tomb of a noble Isa Khan also in the premises. There is small museum also at the entrance which one visit to learn about the place. All buildings have carved descriptions which one should read to have better appreciation of the particular building.

One can see the beauty n engineering beauty of old india, the alignment of drains into equal halves n no clogging of water is something our engineers can learn from. The garden is so beautiful that one can relax for hours n wnt realise the passing time. Worth it. One star missed for the ticket system, though online is available but d network is bad when u reach der, so may be u can get d ticket booked online b4 u reach d place or stand in a line of 100s of tourists..
