We stayed in Hotel Namaskar for 2 nights and for this length of time it was ok but would not stay there longer than that, at least not in a budget room. We stayed in the cheapest room for 400IRD, with no window.

Pros: good location, room was very clean, WiFi working very well (50IRD extra per day), friendly staff, late check outs (extra cost)

Cons: really hot, room was very small and stuffy, need to pass urinal to get to the hotel

There were other places in the area with adverised prices similar to Namaskar, perhaps its worth an effort to check them out if somebody stays longer in Delhi.

Room Tip: Check different rooms.before chosing

Very cheap for the proximity to New Delhi station and is close to plenty of shops/places to eat. Don't expect lots of home comforts but the fan worked, the toilet flushed and the shower was (luke) warm. So for the price not too bad at all, but not the place if you're after a nice shiny room with AC etc

A bit noisy at night, some rooms can be very humid and smelly, ask to have a look, wi-fi it cost 50 rupees and the connection was not really stable. The staff is friendly and the owners can give you some very nice advises about the surrounding shops/restaurants/offices etc.., specially if you are in Delhi for the first time it may comes helpful. Perfect location for me, close by you have the bazaar, the train station and the Metro.good for one night or two.

Workers in this hotel are treated as slaves by peeping tom owners who like to lord it over them and their guests. The night desk man harasses female guests and assaults them with drugs.
A horrendous place that puts travel in India and Indian culture in perspective. Pahar Ganj is one of the most dangerous places in Delhi, India's rape capital, and this hotel is the armpit.

Delhi is quite an expensive city, and most of the book guides tell you that Paharganj is the place to stay if you want to easily get to the new delhi station.
After 4 times sleeping in paharganj (every time in different places), I decided that this was the last one because it's not worth it to stay in the worst part of delhi when the city offers you a REALLY good subway to easily reach the train stations.

Namaskar Hotel is a budget place 5 min walk from the train station, 400 rupees for a single room with attached bathroom, no windows. Because of this, the place was really humid.
Room and bathroom were not really clean, and you can access internet only if you pay extra money.
The only good things are the relatively (for delhi) cheap price and the staff that is actually really friendly and nice.
Probably good only if you really need to stop in delhi just for one night, and anyway I would think about it 2 times.

I had the cheap room above the reception area but I did not have any problem. It could be a bit noisy because it was facing the street, but I didn't mind. I could sleep when I wanted to sleep. It's not a luxury hotel but everything you may need are just nearby. It's in the middle of the main bazaar street so restaurants and souvenir shops abound. Internet shop and barber shop were also next door. A short walk from the rail and metro stations which made it easier for me to navigate Delhi.

the hotel namaskar is located in the hub of tourist place known as paharganj. The hotel looks like a old, not renovated for years building.
The rooms are clean, nice bathroom and good staff..
Although is not safe to stay in delhi because of ripping tourist, but we managed to ...
we just need to spend a night and it was ok ..
