It was incredibly quiet when I got here which was a welcome change from the rest of Delhi. I managed to get in for free with my HOHO ticket and it was great to be able to casually browse the market at my own pace without constantly being harassed. Some of the food places towards the back are worth checking out too.

Located just next to INA station on the yellow line, dilli haat is an easily accessible shopping destination. The entry fees is just about 20 bucks. The shops are setup like a marketplace and what I understand is they are temporary setups and stall keepers keep changing every month. This is the selling point of dilli haat. Every time you go there you ought to experience new stuff! You get handloom, artefacts, toys and sandals from all across India.

Dilli Haat also has an amazing food court setup with shops from all diff states. The variety and authenticity they offer is simply superb!

Dilli Haat located opposite the INA market is a wonderful melting pot of different cultures. Haat in Indian language means 'local market'. Delhi Haat stands true to its name and has food and shops representing many states in India. It is frequented by students, tourists, shoppers and locals alike. It is strategically located at INA(South Delhi)and is connected by metro. Car Parking might be a hassle though. There is an entrance fee of Rs 20( 2$). As you enter there are various shops which sell a variety of good ranging from shawls, shoes, chapels, pickles, clothes to home furnishing and the best part is that items from various states are available under one roof. It is a one stop shop for shopaholics. There are various state festivals like Holi, Rakhi, Diwali, Durga Puja, Chatt Puja etc which keep happening with locals from the respective states setting up stalls to sell authentic items. There are cultural performances as well and special food stalls which ensures the visitors are enthralled.

The items available are expensive but if one bargain's hard on the prices offered by the shopkeepers, they can get a good deal. It is the perfect place for Foreign tourist to buy ' souvenirs' and traditional Indian accessories or clothes which they might want to carry back.

Once you are done with the shopping, you have the option of relishing dishes from across the country. There are stalls from various states serving authentic cuisine of that state at a reasonable cost. All in All Delhi Haat is the best place to spend time and eat as well.

Highly Recommended for everyone!
