Very nice rose garden, pond and historical tomb monuments. The butterfly sanctuary doesn’t seem to be open anymore but everything else was worth the visit as we were in the area. Lots of people working to keep the property clean and well maintained.

The old huge trees stand as a testimony to the ravages of time and the fort stands as a mute spectator to the bygone era. The vast greenery is well maintained and is a succour to the urban eyes. While strolling across the garden on pathways you can see various trees serving as an abode to different birds and squirrels. The place is very safe and one can find families spending their time amidst gossips and laughter.
If you are keen on flora species, this place is a must visit as you come across many rare trees and shrubs.

Lodhi Gardens is a peaceful pause in the hustle and bustle that is Delhi. For a quiet picnic lunch or just a walk amongst flowers, birds and grassy areas this is true meditation.
