Well planned out and extensive displays, well worth a look. Not to expensive, the large carriage out the front also worth it,

The house told both the happy and tragic life story of several Gandhi family members and gave a great insight to the Indian political going's on, really would recommend a visit.

This is a museum kept for public in the memory of Indira Gandhi . While you walk inside the old residence , you are going to the past history of all achievements , photographs and old collections kept for viewing. It is well maintained and guarded. Weekends may be crowded . Otherwise it is nice to spent an hour or two inside the museum . The life saga is encrypted and is visible while one walk through. Memorable one. One should not miss.

The Museum is well curated, and managed.

The displays for people of our age (73 and 67) very moving. We were ourselves in our prime in the period covered, and remember the lady and her achievements and failings well!

So much done, and a few large flaws.

Her family history is well documented, and helps understand what happened and why!

Well worth the time we spent there - a hint - go as early as you can. The crowds build up quickly as the day progresses!

The museum is set in Indira Gandhi's former Prime Ministerial residence. The house itself is stylish and the grounds are lovely. The museum itself has an interesting selection of photographs and personal items, along with informative commentary. Several of the rooms are set up as Indira Gandhi left them. Of all the memorial museums (including Mahatma Gandhi's memorial and Nehru's memorial) this is the most well done. It's the the same vicinity as the Mahatma Gandhi Smriti (memorial) and the Lodi gardens so all these things can easily be done on the same day. Entrance is free.
