I went to stay in Bloomsrooms while on a business trip to New Delhi. It is a hotel which is really modern, nice and clean while being light on your wallet. Finding the hotel is a little tricky for the first time. However, the location is nice as it is away from all the noise and pollution of Delhi while being located at a convenient distance from the centre of the city.

The rooms are clean, modern and have a minimalistic decor with white and yellow accentuated decor. The staffs are friendly and nice. The w-ifi is the fastest I have experienced at any hotel. The bathrooms are clean and modern. The best part is you get what you see on their website. There is no unexpected charges for stuff like water bottles etc.

They have a Amici cafe at the back of the hotel where you can get really nice bakery stuff including pizzas. It has a kind of laid back charm about it where you can spend a couple of hours sipping you coffee and forgetting all worldly worries.

The hotel is very good value for money if you are looking for a no frills clean and modern hotel at the centre of Delhi.

We spent our first night in Delhi there. The room was great - very modern and clean with a comfortable bed and a good bathroom. The staff at the reception was friendly. But I wouldn't not stay there again because the hotel is located in a shady area a bit to far from the city center. The attached Café where we got our breakfast does not really belong to the hotel. We ordered a pizza from the menu for dinner. When we were waiting for it we wondered that the cook did not go into the kitchen - after a while the pizza was delivered by a driver. A bit strange .... If you are only looking for very clean place go to the bloomrooms, but if you want to have more service, a nice dinner and shops in walking distance you might better choose another place.

Hi Claudi-225,

Thank you for taking time to write a review, it's really appreciated.

We're glad to see you enjoyed the hotel amenities in general. In terms of the location, be assured Jangpura is actually one of Delhi's most affluent neighborhoods. We understand it may not appear that way when compared to more developed cities in Europe for example but nevertheless it is very safe.

Delhi's historical centre is Connaught Place but these days the city sprawls far south and Jangpura is now very much in the heart of the city with great access to the north and the south, including close proximity to the metro. We do have another hotel at New Delhi Railway Station, which is much better suited if you want to locate in the old centre of the city and is very popular with tourists - you may find this a better place to stay next time.

Safe travels,

The Team

This was a wonderful reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Delhi! The service was great, rooms were immaculate and location just near the metro and an easy few stops from the center of the city.

The beds and linens, shower, bathrooms etc were very clean. Soap, shampoo, towels are all provided.

Also, there is a wonderful little café attached with some muffins, espressos, cereal, eggs and waffle type food. Great for breakfast before heading out for the day.

It was a great hotel to stay to freshen up before heading back to the states.

Highly recommend it.

We travelled in India for about a month for trekking, in Dharamashala, Mcleod Ganj, the Himalayas, and Delhi. I was hot and sticky from the moment we landed. After a month out, it was such a relief to find Bloomrooms our last night in India, before heading back to the U.S. For the first time in weeks I was cool (good A/C), clean, could shower without sandals to protect from grime or rodents, the toilets were spotless and flushed, the room was really nice, simple, and well situated for relaxing or watching TV / using the computer. There were U.S. compatible power outlets, and the guys at the counter were extremely helpful, speak great English, and overall took care of anything we needed, including arranging Taxis (a bit pricey for the taxi to the airport). Also, the Wifi was the speediest we've had all month.

The price was ok (we spent about 3400rps after taxes for the room for two people). After being in Mcleod and other very northern places in India for a few weeks, 3400rps seems expensive, but relative to the nearest hotels in Delhi, it's a great value.

If you're looking for a simple place to stay, with no frills but everything you need to rest and relax, this is it.

Last week I sent a review about this hotel and somewhere it seems to have got lost. I really can't remember the superlatives which I used at the time but I'll try to recreate the vibe.
We had a great time here and we stayed for 2 days. We - and I seriously mean this - almost cancelled the Leela Palace to come back here. However, it was too late to do so.
The hotel has everything you need - except a laundry: we spoke with one of the Bloom Rooms management team members whom we met at the Amici Cafe and he said they had attempted to sort something out and were now rethinking strategies....Not to worry - plenty of room in the bathroom to wash light stuff and hang it up. We stayed in a twin bed room each having its own reading light. There was also fantastic 'never let you down' wifi. We were on the second floor which was a bit of a way with baggage but the staff helped us - up and down when we left. The bathroom has a great shower. There is no hair-dryer but I think you might get one if you ask - I brought my own. The beds are very comfortable. People have complained about the window looking into the bathroom but don't mention that there is a blind which you can pull down and give all the privacy you need. I think the window was set up in order to achieve more light - as there is only a small window in the bathroom and none in the bedroom. Each morning, on the landing there are tea and coffee making facilities (Twinings Tea!!). The cafe is quite good - but a little 'same-old'. There is a breakfast buffet - cereals and juices and toast and yogurt and they will also cook you an omlette. I think it was about $4.50 (that's Australian $). It set us up anyway. In the evening we had focacia. (I reluctantly have to agree that the staff do seem a little strange - as other members have previously mentioned). The club lounge upstairs is lovely - books to swap, lots of games and two computers. Reception has loads of little pocket-able maps of the Delhi and the metro - very handy and if you fancy a change there is a free bus to several sites. You really couldn't ask for much more - it's all been very thought-out. I would recommend that if you do want to purchase beer (the staff will tell you where the local wine/beer shop is) and you go at night that you take a torch with you as the pavements are pretty useless in some areas. Before you go here, however, I suggest that you take a good look at where this hotel is - it's not easy to find and our driver lost his way but the staff were very good in redirecting him.

Room Tip: If you want to be closer to Delhi (but who does???) Then the company have just opened a new hotel at...

I stayed at Bloomrooms on my first trip to India and was very pleased with the hotel. I felt very safe and the rooms were spacious and clean. It is less than a five minute walk to the Jangpura metro stop. The metro was a great way to get around Delhi and I felt very safe using it (even as a young twenty year old with my teenager brother). The hotel staff was very helpful and gave us great advice on how to get around the city. The cafe was a little expensive (for India standards), but the breakfast was good. They provide free drinking water which is a very nice addition. We also did the pick-up from the airport which was good as well. I highly recommend this place!

A very welcomed experience at Bloomrooms after staying in some absolutely shocking accomodation during my trip throughout India. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the cafe was perfect for breakfast or a snack. This hotel is ideal for anyone visiting Delhi whether its business or pleasure.
