“A "bloomin' great hotel"!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 November 2013

I went to Delhi to attend a wedding along with three other friends, having booked four double rooms in total for a period of 9 days. We made our choice of hotel based on previous comments by other guests and were so glad we stayed in this excellent place. The previous comments don't do it justice; it is much better than what is written. The first thing that strikes you as you enter is how spotlessly clean it is, and to find such a place in India is a win-win situation. Then you get to meet the staff at the front desk and it gets even better from there. The friendliness and professionalism they display will match the best that guests will experience anywhere in the world. Special mention must be made of Sandeep, who was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about getting around in the city. The rooms were basic but very comfortable, and the cleaning staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, including the daily changing of towels. The free WiFi is an added bonus! Cafe Amici, adjoining the hotel, is a great place to have breakfast, with a good spread, including fresh fruit, eggs to order and service with a smile. Prices didn't break the bank either. Full breakfast was Rs 352, including all taxes. A bargain! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reasonably cheap accommodation and yet not wanting to compromise on quality, cleanliness, comfort and hospitality.

Room Tip: Try to book a room on the first floor or above because they tend to be quieter.

Just as nice as the BloomRooms near the New Delhi train station!

This place has excellent service with friendly, helpful staff who clearly have worked hard to learn English and to keep the place looking spiffy.

There is a nice patio outside, with seats and umbrellas, although the traffic noise does come over the high wall.

Rooms are spacious, clean and well kept up. Clean sheets, towels and fluffy bedding and mattress make sleeping a dream here. We have been staying in budget places, and this is a real step up from anywhere else we have been. A bit more money, but definitely worth it.

This Amici is a cafe, with a great full breakfast in the mornings, but then you have to order food about 40 min prior to when you want to eat for lunch or dinner. The food comes from another Amici. Great food, worth the wait, but no "speed eating" as an option.

No frills, extra decor or pomp, which means that you really are paying for what you value- the hard work of the staff to keep things clean and well maintained.

There is a game room/reading room above the cafe in the courtyard, which is a nice alternative space from the room without leaving the hotel itself.

Not in a nice area- there is nothing within walking distance in terms of food or shops, BUT the metro is across the road, so you can get anywhere on that.

Our room faces the road, and is quiet, so I think the insulation and construction is good. The shower is great, and they provide toilet paper!

An excellant western style property. Rooms and surrondings are neat and clean. As promised by their website a good sleep and bath is guaranteed.
Pros:
A. Value for money. An excellent hotel at an affordable rate.
B. Free mineral water 24/7 on the floor. They provide empty bottle for the same which is of good quality.
C. Tea/coffee daily morning on your floor. Self service.
D. Free local calls and Wifi. No extra charge for getting printout of e-tickets.
E. Free shuttle service to metro station every hour from 9:00am to 5:00pm. I think Sunday they don't provide the service.

Cons:
A. No room service. But they can arrange good food from outside on our request. Or else they have a coffee shop within their compound.
B. Limited choice for breakfast. But if you love muffins and flakes you have good choices.

On a whole small and perfect. A niche property and one which must be tried. A different and great experience. They are targeting foreign tourist so very well maintained. Of course locals are hearlty welcomed. Excellent service.

Reach:- This property is near to Jangpura metro station on the violet line. You can connect from Central Secretariat metro station. Make sure your first visit is by the taxi arranged by the hotel itself since it is not much known and saves from travel ripoff. But take my word it's one of the best hotels in Delhi if you love variety. Perfect for travellers.

My best wishes to all the team members of Bloomrooms.

Room Tip: They have no Elevators so make sure you get one on the ground floor or first floor. A room near to t...

Stayed @ Bloomrooms for 8 days during one of my official visit.

Whats good about it?
Location, Near Jungpura Metro Station
Quite a few places to eat. If you are adventurous, can walk down to Nizamuddin and enjoy food @ Karims.
Clean Rooms
The hotel has a positive air around it

Not so good :
No closets in rooms, so if you are staying for a long duration, its difficult to manage clothes
Rooms are not very spacious
Breakfast, if included in your package, is same everyday.

I stayed at Bloomrooms on my last India trip for two nights at the end of september & than again for 4 days in October & I absolutely loved it!
Do not head here if you're looking for a 5 star hotel. Bloomrooms is not at all fancy but it's oh, so pleasant. Spotlessly clean, the basics being done to perfection - what a comfortable bed, great hot shower, posh towels and exhilarating all, the service!!! The staff was always ready to help immediately. They were attentive, caring, respectful, warm & kind - service like this does not exist at 5 star hotels!
WiFi reception is very good, there are Macs for guests use on each floor, each floor also has a mineral water tank for guests free use as well as complimentary teas & coffee in the mornings.
The bloomrooms lounge is a super feature. It's large, full of light, air conditioned, quiet with lovely wood furniture, fun decor, carpeting, Macs for guests use, books, board games and couches to sink into, It made me feel at home and prior to check in or after check out, this is the perfect environment to read a book in or even take a short nap.
The Amici breakfast buffet, although not cheep according to indian standards (they recently raised the price), is wonderful serving an assortment of fresh breads, muffins & pastries, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, milk, good coffee & tea and a choice of idli, Belgian waffles or eggs that they prepare according to guests specific preference. Asking if I could take a banana out with me, I was invited to take a muffin & yogurt as well. Those who are Pure veg. or Kosher should note & be assured that no chicken or meat are prepared here.
the only aspect that I found not absolutely perfect is the location. The Jangpura metro station is less than 10 minutes by foot but as a solo female I did not feel safe walking this at night & preferred paying a cycle Rikshaw driver to take me (20 rupees). The complementary shuttle service running between 9am & 5 pm daily is great & Shekhar - the driver is extremely responsible & helpful.
Throughout my stay, the staff was always extremely helpful & when I headed up north for a few days they were happy to hold my luggage for me. The peak was on my last night in Delhi, I had checked out in the morning leaving my bags in Bloomrooms & a pone returning to the hotel in the late evening about to head to the airport, I was let into an available room to wash up & shower!
Thank you Gulzar, Avinash, Anukul and the rest of the dedicated staff at Bloomrooms for making my time in Delhi so pleasant.
I await my next stay with you!

A lovely place to stay. The one thing that attracted me is its ambiance. The rooms are wrapped in yellow and white which makes you feel so fresh and good. The cafe 'Amici' was equally good which served really delicious food and coffee. Mr. Sourabh was extremely polite and helpful. The stay was wonderful and memorable indeed. I would definitely love to visit here again. I rate 5 out of 5 to bloomrooms.
