All the Paharganj noises are far away from this place, as this Hotel is located in a by lane. The Key less entry, electronic switch board & interiors do give a modern feel but the entire thing looks temporary. No complaints about the service, the foods is okay. The bath is also modern & the boilers were switched on whenever requested. I would definitely recommend this Hotel for a business stay not exceeding 1/2 nights.

Room Tip: The Premium Rooms are good but, pricy for Paharganj like area.

This hotel was beyond expectations, prize and quality are well balanced! Rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff is welcoming and ready to help. I asked to organize city sightseeing and had an excellent day with a good taxi driver guide in Delhi City. I liked the restaurant: good Indian food but also other food available, breakfast very good. You will find other good restaurants nearby also Mac Donald's. I liked that this hotel is close to "ordinary" Indian bazaars and you can have glimpse of Indian people' lives. It's easy to order taxi or ricksha and visit other bazaars too. Thank you - Kiitos!

Room Tip: Higher floors have less noise.

A very nice hotel very close to New Delhi railway station (10-15mins walk) and in an area of many hotels and restaurants. Rooms are cozy, comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. AC works very well, most reception staff are helpful including the travel desk. A few minor problems for us were that the wifi was quite slow, but useable and the hot water was intermittent; in fact in the 3 days we stayed here we only had one hot shower, the rest were cold/luke warm. Also some staff, especially in restaurant, room service and housekeeping are difficult to talk to in English, no smiles or great service from them and are quite slow at completing tasks.
Overall taking everything into account though it was a good hotel and I would be happy to stay there again and it is fairly good value for money. Just a few little things could be improved as described above.

The experience began with a welcoming staff and a much required quick check-in after a tiring flight and a worse commute from the airport. The beautiful decor of the corridors, cleanliness of the washroom and a well-equipped room contributed to a very comfortable stay.
Kudos!

Room Tip: Located off the main road between equally tall buildings. So no good views or quieter side as such.

The room is good, but restaurant is not good. The bed and quilt are not very clean but acceptable.
Last day I asked the hotel to arrange taxi sent me to the old Delhi railway station, they charged me Rs 600, not a honest price.

We arrived in the early morning by courtesy cab and when it turned into the small crowded alleyway where the hotel is located we were disappointed to say the least by our first view of the Uppal International. But how wrong we were. we had booked three days as an introduction to Delhi and in the smog it did not make a good first impression.
Feeling tired after the flight and experiencing for the first time the chaos of the traffic as we were driven in from the airport was to blame. And also the coldness of the weather had shaken us. Our only previous experience of India being Goa and Kerala.
But the friendly welcome from the staff as they checked us in and took us up in the glass sided elevator to our impressively large room soon put us at our ease.
The bed was a very comfortable King sized one and the room had every convenience required.A/C and heating. Flat screen cable tv, room service and a very well appointed bathroom en-suite.
We had booked a Deluxe Double Room through Expedia with a breakfast buffet included which is served on the roof. Great in the heat but somewhat chilly during our early January stay.
But the thing which made this hotel so impressive was the staff who could not have been more caring and helpful.
That first day the chap on the travel desk booked us an all day car and driver for day two to see the sights of Delhi and also gave us a map and showed us clearly the way to walk to Connaught Square, the shopping and eating out area in the centre. It was a 10 minute stroll from the hotel which took us past the railway terminus. The car trip the following day was superb and we were taken only to the tourist sites we wished to see and no shops as we had asked.
This is a good central hotel. On their website they make much of it being a budget hotel which I think could mislead people into thinking it is rough and sparse. It is certainly good value for money but it has every convenience and in some respects has luxury features like the shower in our en-suite.
I would recommend this hotel. Particularly for the staff. They go out of their way to assist visitors. On the day we left my wife forgot to pack her pashmina and the hotel rang her mobile to tell her they had found it and posted it to her for no charge. This is service and hospitality of a very high standard.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor and it was very quiet.
