I stayed there in August 2013. this place is near to Shivaji Stadium, very near to Connaught Place. Reachability is very good, Metro and Bus services are very near. New Delhi Station is also near. Aero express Metro for Airport can be caught from Shivaji Stadium Station.

Rooms are good, Food is also very good.
In morning, one can see children practicing in Shivaji Stadium.
I recommend it for business class.

Room Tip: Select room along Shivaji Stadium

Caunaught was not my first choice but when i did , i never regretted the decision. very warm , soft cosy rooms and a feel of elegance too. loved the space but it does looked crowed and cramped from entrance but it is not so. The best is its location, I cud walk to CP every evenings. and the food layout at breakfast and dinner was very well huge and many varieties.
staff was always pleasant to talk to.

The hotel offers a pleasant stay for both business travelers as well as tourists. Check in process was slow but the staff were courteous. The ambience was quite decent and elegant.

The room was small and there was not adequate space to move around. It was nice to find Fruits and cookies in the room when you enter. The bath room was just fine, but they could add water jet for the toilet.

The breakfast had a good choice of items. The seating arrangement needs a big facelift. The dinner which was otherwise good was marred by loud cacophonic music.

The TV was small and old. Needs replacement with more modern ones. For a four star hotel they could have carpeted the room.

WiFi was available in the room free. Tea/Coffee maker was also provided.

Room was clean and nice though a bit too small. The mirror could have been larger.

Room Tip: Pick up a room at higher level

I stayed there for 3 days, Its a nice hotel i was lucky to get a room with the Hockey stadium view.
The only drwaback is the sky rocketing internet charges per hour usage.

Rooms were clean with a good compact bathroom.

The main advantage of this place is its location : walking distance from Connaught Circle with all the prions it provides. The service is excellent - the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite good and offers a variety of dishes at all meals. Breakfast was sumptuous and so was dinner. The snack bar is very good as well. The main drawback is that the rooms are somewhat dated - the bathrooms could use a freshening up in particular. However, they are quite functional, so consider this a suggestion to "Management" !!

You can find a much more updated hotel (e.g., Four Points at Sheraton) at similar rates if you go outside the city centre. But , if you want to visit the city from there, the traffic will eat up all the savings - if you put any value on your time. Most Delhi hotels seem to be way overpriced for the use we typically put them to - if you are like me, you look for a clean, comfortable room, a good place for breakfast and (maybe) dinner and friendly staff. This hotel provides all of those quite well.

Overall, given the location and its very acceptable prices, this is recommended to all guests not traveling on an expense report. Luxury it is not. But so what ?

Room Tip: Look for an upper level room - sometimes the events they host have loud music into the night.

I paid 3000/- for a single occupancy room...and i tell you the breakfast itself made it up for the money i paid...i mean it is so good
The chef makes brilliant mushroom cheese omlet...a must try
Rooms are kickass....fully carpeted....with a bath tub and all the upmarket facilities
Right from the watchman till the hotel kitchen staff all are so proactive.....

Room Tip: Choose the rooms to the right hand side of the lobby they have an awesome football stadium view
