Visited Ambience Mall in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi with friends and decided to try Mistral. We were impressed with the layout and the ambience of the restaurant and settled down there. The mocktails were exotic but it was surprising to find the restaurant saying that they had only 30 ml of a popular whisky.
The food was good and the chef very co-operative willing to dish out special meals for one of us. Yummy chicken wings and crunch salads were quite satisfying for the palette. Surprisingly, Anda Paratha was a real treat for the taste-buds.
But, service was quite disappointing. If you have ample time at your disposal and do not mind reminding the waiter all his duties and roles. like bringing sufficient number of menu cards, laying as many plates as are the number of guests on the table, can ignore if half the items are served and others forgotten, some guest served only after the other half have finished, then you are surely going to enjoy your evening.
How I wish, the restaurant trains its waiters a little more to make it a real happening place! Their behaviour was courteous but efficiency lacking.
