Busy restaurant so booking is a must. Great place especially in the winter months. Service is quick and courteous. The chef is a young man who is willing to recommend specials. Prices are great. The lota shop next door has good stuff but very pricey. Parking is an issue at the restaurant though valet services are available.

A place that has been created with a lot of thought. A perfect space to spend quality time, indulging in some quality food, tastefully made. Inspite of the time (afternoon Delhi summer) we visited, the space kept us, more than just comfortable. Incidentally, it is located within the Crafts Museum, and makes more for its value. I am going to visit every time possible.

Being in a part of the Crafts Museum, the setting/ambience is excellent.

Vehicle parking is an issue but they do have a valet service.

While waiting for the food you can enjoy the artefacts displayed outside or go into the museum shop.

It is an open air restaurant.

Though it had started getting warm during the day, I saw them making arrangements for covering the seating area and installation of coolers that would make this place even more comfortable during the summer months.

The menu is varied and showcases dishes from a few different states.

In the drinks section, we had the masala chaas and nimbu pani - both refreshing to kill the heat in you.

For food we ordered

Fish 'n chips, Konkan fish curry and the Salli boti to satisfy the non-vegetarian urge in us

AND

Kacha Papita Koshim, Kumaoni Raita, Palak Patta chaat, Kerala vegetable stew and the Sattu parantha in the vegetarian selection.

In the dessert section we tried the Bhapa Doi Cheesecake and it turned out to be a wonderful way to sweeten our sweet tooth bud after a delicious meal.

The food was excellent but the Kumaoni raita was not as tangy as it should be.

The portions for an average eater were slightly small so you might have to order another dish to fill yourself up.

The flavour of the food, being from different states was apparent.

It appears that the chef knows what the flavours should be, unlike in a lot of places where there is not much of a difference in the flavours, unless you are at a single cuisine restaurant.

The staff was friendly and efficient.

Would I go again - surely.
