Guys this place is a must if you want to try some authentic pan asian food. Amazing use of ingredients and almost all dishes are new on oriental platter. Pomelo spinach salad and banofy pie is a must try. I had the best sushi here. Great ambiance and easily available parking on cp outer circle.

We chose Chew as our first dining spot primarily due to the great reviews and the menu we'd read before-hand online. We were very hungry upon arriving in Delhi late in the evening after a flight from Afghanistan, and we were considerably 'thirsty' for a nice bottle of wine to accompany our meal, given we had spent the past several weeks in a country where alcohol is prohibited. We'd narrowed down several restaurants that sounded good for that first evenings meal, but Chew's Facebook page which boasted of an 'extensive wine list' is what really set our sights on this venue for our dinner that first evening.

We arrived to find a slick new diner, freshly decorated with modern accents. It was relatively empty with only a few patrons, but a half dozen waitstaff greeted us eagerly and hospitably. The menu was exactly as portrayed online, a broad spectrum of Asian cuisines with equal offerings of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options - perfect for our half veg and half non-veg group. We ordered a little bit of everything: thai veg curry, indonesian chicken curry, japanese avocado sushi, chicken spring rolls and vegetarian papaya salad. And then, we asked to see their wine list.

"We do not serve alcohol" our waiter told us unapologetically. Honestly, that was a real let down. It was not simply disappointing because we'd all hoped to have some wine with our dinner, but also because we'd been misled by their own false advertising - a very bad business practice no matter what business you're in.

That issue aside, the food was fabulous, the ambiance was fun (swing chairs!) yet classy, and the service was beyond expectations. When we finished our meal, our waiter brought us a generously large tiramisu dessert free of charge. Then, as we were half way through the tiramisu he delivered a caramel sponge cake to our table, also "on the house". And, wow! They were delicious. Maybe even moreso than our meal, which had been superb all around.

I wish that I could give Chew a 4.5 rating, as docking them a full point for falsely advertising wine offerings seems a bit harsh when compared to the wonderful meal and service and generosity we experienced, but overall that aspect should preclude them from a "perfect" rating. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I will highly recommend Chew to anyone I know visiting Delhi in the future.

Chew-Pan Asian Cafe, located in CP is a relatively new restuarant. They have a varied menu and the menu card is very colourful. The waiters are very patient and the manager himself attends personally for feedback. The baked fish is a must try. They also offer an interesting variety of fruit juices. We had apple juice blended with ganangal and served with honey. We had ordered baked fish with udon noodles and they had taken special care to balance the taste. Their dessert menu too is praiseworthy. We tried tiramisu and it was quite good. The place is very nicely done and the most interesting feature happens to be the swing-chairs :). Give this place a shot and you won't be disappointed.
