To avoid being repetitive about details, read the reviews by DeniseLY and Hannah W; I completely agree with their comments. After having spent some weeks traveling around India, it was wonderful to have a hotel where everything worked...elevator...shower with hot water...air conditioner. We had a couple of minor problems in the room and they were promptly rectified. It's not upscale, just a well priced hotel where the food is good and the property maintained above the average in India. The staff makes it a great place to stay, especially Mr. Pai the manager. He can arrange transportation, exchange your currency, and give you good advice, all with a smile. I'll be back again next Fall

At first glance entering from the quite confronting street outside, your stomach will hurtle to your knees, but once you're inside and have met the staff - every one of them including the very friendly and full-of-information, bonhomie manager (owner?) - you'll begin to feel more relaxed, and once you settle into your large, comfortable, clean, well furnished room, you'll have recovered completely. There's a fridge, a good shower, tea/coffee, staff willing to venture out into the jam-packed streets to bring you back water, beer or whatever you need, and complimentary breakfast on the cool covered rooftop, complete with squirrels, is ample and delicious, Western or Indian style. Free wifi throughout, and if it's dropping out upstairs, they're quite willing for you to use the one they use downstairs in reception gratis. One small whinge - maybe one bottled water per guest should be provided. But all-in-all a comfortable and secure place to stay in the middle of Delhi chaos - definitely not my fave subcontinental city!

Stayed here as part of our g adventures tour of the golden triangle for the first and last night of our trip. Rooms were standard, nice and clean and the hotel staff were friendly enough but not anything to be blown away by.

Good location for the delhi metro which was less than 10 minutes walk away that can take you straight into town to the bazaars and to the main attractions, definately easier than renting/trusting a tuk tuk to take you home and away! Karol Bagh market is also not far away and walkable... It did have a nice hideaway restaurant on the roof.

Overall hotel was decent and safe enough to get away from the hustle and bustle that is delhi!

Older well-maintained hotel, exactly as advertised, with well-equipped room and excellent service. Although not located in a central tourist location, we liked the easy access to a Delhi metro station (< 10 minute walk). We got a 3 day tourist metro pass (easy to do at the metro station) and went everywhere efficiently via metro. Staff was extraordinarily helpful, friendly, and available at all times. Manager/owner(?) is very responsive, has excellent English, and provides helpful handouts on Hindi, an excellent city map, metro info, and honest advice. Good restaurant on roof. Excellent grocery store and other restaurants within walking distance. Nothing fancy but we were not looking for fancy and were very satisfied. The only negative was the location in dingy neighborhood devoted to vehicle repair. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Room Tip: We asked for a quiet room and got one facing a narrow alley. The room was a little dark but that wa...

We stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour and if it wasn't for our amazing tour guide we would have had a miserable time. The hotel is well appointed for the price and erratic air con and hot water can be excused.

What could have ruined the trip was the attitude of the staff. Despite the rave reviews I had read elsewhere I found the staff dissmissive and disinterested. After arriving in Delhi you are quickly overwhelmed by the heat, noise and perpetual attempts to get money out of you by the locals and when we arrived at the hotel we were made to wait in the lobby for several hours with no explanation as to why and when we asked when would we meet our tour (it was our first tour so had no idea of the routine) I had a sign pointed out to me without a single word said. I didn't expect a parade but a "good morning" and a smile would have certainly helped us when we clearly looked exhausted and lost.

This lack of interest persisted throughout our stay, culminating with a taxi fare argument for which the hotel took the taxi driver's side and abolished any trust we had in them.

As a side note the internet was very unreliable which although can be expected made planning our onward journey impossible.

I have stayed in many hostels around the world but would only stay here again if it was part of a tour.

Well I wanted to see the F1 happening in India and I needed a hotel so I booked this 1 or my 3 day stopover looking at the trip advisor ratings and well it was a bang for a buck. The hotel guys adjusted the last days breakfast to the first day, they even gave breakfast as late as 10:40 on my request on the second day as I woke up late. The guy at the reception gave me a map of the metro along with instructions to go. The staff as amazing hospitality and courteousness. In all a good experience.

Room Tip: Well I had a nice time with the std room, but do prefer or AC as delhi is hot.

This is one of the best hotels around Karol Bagh. In every aspect this hotel will score a 100, be it room quality, size, furnishings, cleanliness. . Everything. Food quality at the rooftop restaurant is also top notch. The hotel owners and staff were also helpful and courteous to a level beyond the ordinary. We arrived at 12 am in the morning and had no problems checking in. Even we had to do a delayed checkout, and they were kind enough to not charge an extra day. The hotel is less than 10 mins from the Jhandelwala metro station of the blue line, and less than half an hour in auto from the NDLS station. Only point is that this hotel is slightly on the expensive side, but cleartrip deals took care of that! Recommended!
