great hotel, great location, brilliant management. the manager offered to help us, we decided that he wanted to con us, instead all tuk tuk drivers tried to con us, and it turned out we should have trusted the manager.
the only downside is lack of pool, but the rooms very clean, bathroom was great. there's no restaurant, but you can order food to your room, which is reasonably priced. definitely recommend this hotel

We a family of five stayed here last month, it is a very clean and comfortable hotel and the food is so tasty, breakfast is excellent and has a good choice. This was our second stay with them. They are very quick with check in and were very helpful when we had to store our luggage on two occasions, our luggage was well looked after. Enjoyed being in central Delhi as we could walk to a lot of places. Beware of taxis in that area outside we asked one to take us to the 22 Government stores in Baba Kharak Singh Rd. He said yes and took us the wrong way with a diversion to a terrible Kashmir Emporium where we had been taken a year before this is where you will pay at least double for any item as the taxi driver is on a commission. The driver used the excuse that he had to pick up a car part for his van. Complete lie as when we arrived he got out the van and pretended to tighten a wheel nut, which he could of done anywhere. Then he walked to a small place opposite the Emporium and sent a boy to his van with a screwdriver, he also did nothing, this was another act. Then he said everyone out of the van, I said a blunt no!!!!!! and we all refused to move so then he took us to where we wanted to go. YOU MUST BE FIRM. They use every excuse in the book like the government stores are all closed down, or they have moved, all to entice you to their shops that will rip you off big time. Anyway getting back to the Bright hotel it is a good hotel to stay when in Delhi. Only one negative they now over charge for car hire, we were charged 2500rs by the manager Mr Sodhi for 4 hours, it used to be 1000rs for 8 hours. We found cheaper outside.

I recently attended a conference in the center of New Delhi, and my wife and I stayed at this hotel. Mr. Sodhi's staff was very helpful throughout our stay, which was for 5 days. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the center of New Delhi.

Well I was here for 3 nights 16th to 19th Jan. A great little hotel. Check in a breeze, very helpful staff on the desk. From the outside, as other people have mentioned, it doesn't look much. But once upstairs in the hotel all is fine. Situated on the outer circle of Connaught Place, well within walking distance from one of the great restaurants The Embassy, this hotel is a great base to visit New/Old Delhi. Parking outside for my driver too. You must have your wits about you in the City, I found at night though, one or two scams operating around Connaught Place. Even a traveller like me was almost, 'taken for a ride' by a well dressed man wanting to take me and show me festivals and sweet shops at 10pm walking back from the Embassy restaurant. Then demanded £10 to disappear, it's a good job I was only 50 yards from my Hotel.
All in all, a great stay at the hotel, laundry service fine, breakfast in room every morning from a 'night before' chosen menu fine.

Like others you arrive at a doorway that looks rough. You go up stairs and into other properties that are work shops. Its grim. But then you pass through another door and you enter a peaceful tranquil environment. It is more than pleasantly decorated, it is very clean and the staff are excellent. It has the quality of a more expensive hotel but with that character that the larger hotels lack. If your in delhi for a couple of days and want some where central to explore from and you do not want to spend a huge amount then this is the place for you

Room Tip: I stayed in a room with out a window and it was fine. I suspect a view out may be better but you may have to trade this off against noise.
