“No Frills Restaurant that served simple delicious food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 May 2014

Khan Chacha's was recommended by a local Delhi resident. I stayed in The Taj Mahal Hotel nearby but decided to take a short walk to try this restaurant. I was glad that I did, for a tiny fraction of the 5 star hotel price, I enjoyed a fresh meal consisting of hot kebabs of several varieties, with Rumali Roti and salad. The prices are very economical indeed but do not expect to be served, its self service and you sit at simple tables in simple surroundings with air conditioning. Good place to grab a tasty bite. Don't miss it

“Poor food and overpriced”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2014

I went to Khan Chacha last week with a friend and ordered veg hariyali kabab. The kababs were very bad and lacked any taste. The place was buzzing with flies and when I complained to the staff they merely humored me by swatting a couple of them. The bottled drink was luke warm and not chilled as one would have liked in Delhi summer. May be its true that Khan chacha is not a place for vegetarians but if one is serving vegetarian dishes they better be good. Even vegetarians pay for the food. Avoidable place. Much hyped

“Lip-smacking rolls”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

Recently moving to Delhi and relyinh hreavily on the reviews on tripadvisor...I decided to try out the rolls at Khan Chacha at Khan Market.Let me tell you the rolls are worth the hype and are absolutely delicious. Each roll is almost a meal by itself and the ambience is also fun with open air seating on the second floor.
The rolls are made with yummy roomali rotis and the kebabs are also amazing. We ordered the chicken tikka roll and the mutton tikka roll and both were yummy!

Definitely a must-go and highly recommended.

“Aao-khaao-jaao”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014

Literally translated 'aao-khaao-jaao' means 'Come-Eat-Leave'
This is a seriously no-nonsense eatery...... So dash up the narrow staircase, order your meal, take your token and wait till the token number flashes at the service counter. Once you're the customer being served, a smiling, polite chef will ask how you'd like each item of the order (as customized as they can make the traditional fare). Then they'll ask: "Parcel or eating here?" Whatever your reply - the order is courteously placed before you.
If you're eating here - it's a no-fuss standing counter or tall round table..... then a quick dash to wah up. And off you go..... Well fed and a bit dazed at the overwhelming, but rather tolerable, attack on every sense organ!

“Too much hype”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 May 2014

The hype about this place and especially the rolls they serve was deafening so decided to check it out. The music was loud and the place has no ambience and a bit tardily maintained too. We ordered two chicken rolls and a veg roll as take-away. When we opened them the roomali roti was soggy and the taste strictly passable nothing to rave about.
