“Tasteful Offerings @ this Multi Cuisine Place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2014

Kasbah might be the North Indian Cuisine Restaurant, but the offerings in this complex are varied. So if you decided to switch moods & wanted to have a drink at their Bar, which is a good option before the meal, just stay a floor down and then come up to the covered terrace, for the meal. The Service is excellent to patch up with the most authentic North India food here. They just know how to do it right, without making it very hot! Hence I would recommend it to teh overseas visitors even more. The ambience, which is a bare basic, though neat & clean, could be spruced up a little with some new ideas! But the overall experience makes you come to this place time & again. I am writing this review after having eaten maybe over a dozen times & love to go back with family mostly!

“Good Food, Good Sufi Music”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2013

Went there on a Sunday evening and the only thing that attracted me to this place was the Sufi Music Night, the complex is divided into 3 floors 1 floor is the italian restaurant-Spago, 3rd floor is Zafarran the Indian (Mughlai) Restaurant, and the second floor had a Bar-Restaurant named Mannekin which was a multi-cuisine restaurant- we chose the multi-cuisine as they served food from the other two places as well.
the DJ was playing soulful sufi music and the light were kept very dim and suited the Ambiance.
we enjoyed feasting upon the delicious Dahi ke Kebabs(Hung Curd) as well as Chapli Kebab (Mutton), Although we also ordered Honey chili potatoes for the kids- instead the waiter served us just simple french fries(without even mentioning that they don't have the version we ordered), for the main course we ordered a Yaseen Veg Biryani- which was very nice and came along with a Raita(Curd), we also ordered the Dal makhani- avoidable, Paneer Akbari and chicken Mumtaz which were both good along with Parantha's, but make sure you order the lacha parantha's and not the pudina parantha's
we also tried a few mocktails witch were nice specially the Mintchee
Over all a nice place but a lil heavy on the pocket

“Pretty restaurant, good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2013

We arrived with a large group, and the food kept coming. The service was swift, the dishes were hot, and the interior was clean and sophisticated. The restaurant is set back from the street with like a courtyard area, so the interior is nice and quiet.

To use the bathroom, you'll need to go outside and around the building, and then into what seemed to be a lobby and then into the restroom. Bring your own tissues. I'm sure the practice is to keep the place stocked, but there was none there.

“Tasty food , but very oily and greasy, good ambience.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2013

Went for a business lunch to Kasbah, Greater Kailash, New Delhi. It was an impromptu choice since the first choice of ours was closed due to the day being Tuesday.
The food was tasty. Unfortunately, for people who are health conscious, I would not recommend it as there was too much of fat and the gravy was oily in each and every dish that we ordered.
On the brighter side, the staff was very courteous and helpful. The ambiance and decor was pleasing. The service was quick and the serving size was decent. The steward serving us was exceptionally pleasant.
All in all, if they can improve the quality of food in terms of the amount of fat and oil that is used, it would be worth a visit.
