We spent two nights at the beautiful Haveli while visiting our daughter who is living in Delhi. Prior to our stay at the Haveli, we spent two nights in southern Delhi and three nights in Kerala - this was the topping on our Indian sundae! This historical property is beautifully restored and definitely an amazing oasis in the middle of old Delhi. We were a bit concerned when our taxi dropped us off in the middle of the road and pointed down a narrow alley, but we made it there no problem - thanks to the assistance of some helpful locals - we are clearly not the first foreigners to look completely lost in the same spot! The rooms are spectacular, albeit not quite soundproof, but an amazing experience overall. Even if you don't stay here, it worth coming to the Haveli for a drink on the rooftop and taking in the views of Red Fort, Jama Masjid and all of the hustle and bustle below. There's no place like it (the only restored Haveli in Delhi) - highly recommend for an amazing and memorable experience! (Our room was perfect for the three of us - a king size bed in the main room, and a separate bedroom with a single for our daughter - ask for room 101 if you have three people.)
