“Great find.. Unimpressive facade leads to well designed impressive rooms.”
Reviewed 18 September 2011

This is a small hotel about 45 minutes drive from the Airport and about 20 minutes without traffic. It is located in the area around Siri Fort in front of Gargi College.

The hotel looks very inconspicuous on the outside with limited parking places right on the road. The reception is small but efficient. There is a small restaurant on the ground floor.

Good.

1) Though everything about this hotel appears mediocre on the outside and in the lobby the minute you enter the room you are surprised. The floor is wooden and there is pleasing design which is very hip with lighted circles on the roof and on the back of the bed. The room is clean with much more amenities than what you would have expected.

2) Great minibar, great LCD TV, very comfortable bed with clean sheets. There is also free Wifi.

3) The bathroom is small but clean and modern with a shower. Good amenities including a large bottle of liquid soap is provided.

Bad.

Well the corridors are narrow and there is a small lift that may or may not work because someone left the door partly open on one of the top floors. The lift with heavy opening of doors and closing seems out of place in the hotel.

On the whole a hotel which impresses you most when you enter the rooms.. This is always good as the other way round is what is most often seen, Where the lobby and reception looks impressive and the rooms disappoint.

Room Tip: I loved the larger second floor room than the smaller 3rd floor rooms.

I stayed with them for the first time, its a pure business hotel. Excellent services, great food, and off course beautiful hotel. I was there for 2 nights, they charged me a nominal price for that. It is one of the best hotels i stayed till date. I suggest all travelers to stay there & experience the Luxury & comfort in a value for money pricing.

Good quality hotel, well maintained with good service. New, well furnished rooms, quiet and convenient location, easy to find with good transportation options (stand by the road and hail one of the ubiquitous taxis or three-wheelers) or ask the front desk staff.

I would stay here again with or without my family.

GOOD
- The hotel is located in a very quiet area and is generally kept very neat and clean.
- Breakfast is provided and functional at best
- Internet Connection worked very well (which is not very often in Small Indian Hotels)
- Room is kept clean and tidy as was the toilet
- Staff is friendly

BAD
- Room sizes are rather small. For the business traveller for a couple of days this is a decent enough to stay in
- Insulation between rooms is very poor so anyone who is loud in their room or in the corridor can be heard inside the rooms. Not very nice at night when one wants to have a quiet snooze
- Not too far away from Hauz Khas Metro Station but in general is difficult to find public transport just outside the hotel

We stayed for only three nights. no airport pickup, which was promised at booking, hard to find for cab drivers, but very nice amenities. clean rooms, internet works (which is not always the case in india...), but there is no such thing like service - nobody told us stuff about breakfast or dinner, felt a bit uncomfortable. oh, and phone didnt work, not even call reception. but overall nice hotel, especially with roof top, which they hopefully finish soon.

Very clean, stylish boutique hotel. Rooms are not very large, but extremely well decorated, with comfortable beds. Clean, slightly small, well equipped toilets. Room service is basic but adequate. Restaurant in front is small, has same menu as room service, limited choice but tasty food. No other major luxury facilities, but you won't miss anything. Have never tried the WiFi so cant comment. Everything is small, basic, but stylishly done. Slightly expensive, but worth it for a business traveller on a short trip.

  • Liked — Very clean & well maintained
  • Disliked — Bit far from major landmarks and markets
