“Good but can certainly improve”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

We were there for two days and three nights in June 2014. The property is quite huge with zones cut out for kids, swimming, cycling, lounge.. They have three types of restaurants (But only one is operational for the day) They have maintained the property well and its a surprise to get such a resort in the outskirts of Mysore. Spa is also good with trained professionals. Only sober point is food which was just average. Dishes get repeated throughout the day and the staff at the restaurant are so lax that they are so busy talking. Do not bother to check if the napkins and cutlery are in place. They are unable to manage the crowd in the afternoons and nights. Why? The restaurant had only two families one of the afternoons and they had only one person in the restaurant who was so busy talking on the phone. Room service is quite late when you get the order only after 25 minutes for a plate of french fries. The coffee shop is also slow and we had to wait for a good half an hour for coffee and other snacks. Guess they have only one kitchen as i see waiters running around to and fro the restaurant as well as the coffee house. All in all, a good experience except for the food and the staff courtesy which is found to be wanting!

Room Tip: There are so many rooms such as garden facing as well as lake facing..so make your choice whichever...

We had been their for dinner. We enjoyed the atmosphere , having food at open gardens in candle light. We loved it. It started to rain in the middle and we enjoyed it too. The cost was reasonable. The quality was good. The staffs were well trained. It was a great exp at the restaurant

Too good property. Ambiance is very nice. Food is excellent but comparatively expensive. Good for family trip. Advisable to stay for more than 2 nights as there are many places to visit in and around Mysore which are again very beautiful!

We (4 couples) stayed here for 2 nights for a small break. The check in was delayed and different reception staff just kept telling us different check in times. After a lot of follow up, managed to get the rooms we were booked for.

The resort is no doubt fantastic and well maintained, but its terribly overpriced everywhere else. a 300 ml coke bottle would cost Rs 95 and a bottle of 1 Liter aquafina water Rs 90.
Swimming pool is good and well maintained, there are plenty of indoor games. kinds can hire bicycles. The service staff are courteous and helpful. Resort has plenty of spots for photographers and you will be clicking clicking all the time. lot of greenery very well maintained all around.

We were all vegetarians and would not eat in a mix cuisine restaurant so had to order food from outside. There is a Highway 18 Veg restaurant close by which would deliver the food and the taste is good as well.

Went with my wife during Mar'14. The hotel is bit far from the city.Fantastic property right from the entrance to every nook and corner of the property, Very clean and very well maintained. Pool was big and good. Food tasted excellent with good variety. Dinner is normally near the artificial lake under candle light. Arrangements were good. We stayed in lake view cottage and the room was excellent. All required amenities were there and bathroom was good and huge. It also had open shower. Bed quality was good too. Room service was really fantastic. Check-in and check-out was fast. Fabulous service all around. Overall fantastic stay. Will definitely visit again.

Room Tip: Lake view cottage was really good

Amazing property and very good customer oriented staff. I had booked for Mid may Deluxe room with extra Bed. On my request for a free upgrade to Duplex, the Front desk manager was more than willing to accommodate without any fuss and was deeply happy and surprised.

The Room was awesome with awesome man-made in house lake view from the balcony. Lot of activities such as swimming, cycling, kids activities, world best SPA, Lounge Bar, etc,

The Breakfast spread and lunch buffet is also perfectly spread and priced.

The dinner is an open Air lawn dinner with a large screen cricket match experience, just besides the huge beautifully lit lake.

The Swimming pool is very big with separate kiddies pool, beach type shallow to deep experience with many floats and play items for kids.

The SPA is world class with best of herbal oils on sale. The stuff is really good and using it on my children.

THE ONLY FLIP PART IS THE DUPLEX ROOM COOLING. The first floor where the bedroom is , doesnt have good cooling at all and need to put on the FAN as well.

Overall stay was good. Would recommend to Stay for atleast THREE NIGHTS. Explore 1 1/2 day of Mysore, and rest just indulge yourself in the property.

Room Tip: Check for Deluxe Room or other, avoid Duplex room though was initially happy for getting a free upgr...

We had a stopover in this resort on the way back from Ooty to Bangalore. It was an beautiful and serene place. The staff was good, courteous and helpful. Emaraj was the incharge for breakfast and was very helpful. He even started the whole breakfast 30min earlier as we wanted to leave early in the morning. We stayed in the Delux Double room and it was modern and had the lake view. This view is very pleasing. The toilet was a little small but that was the only drawback. The classic rooms are very big and cheaper but we prefered the location of the delux.
The pool is also very big and beautiful, we really enjoyed it. However they could make the changing rooms in the pool side little more private.
We were unable to try the spa as we were short on time.
Overall an excellent experience.
