Shanthi Niwas is about 7 minutes by tuk-tuk from the main bus stand in a residential area with one good restaurant in walking distance. The place is attached to the family home but separate, upstairs with one living room/extra bedroom and a one bedroom separate with attached bath. Ganga takes every care to make your stay a good one. She even rescued me from a rogue tuk-tuk driver. Don't expect luxury but do expect to be charmed by the family and the delicious changing menu breakfasts. I would stay here again in an instant. It saved me money and gave me great memories.
