Mysore palace is a must see place in Mysore. Marvelous palace !!!
It is huge palace where it is beautifully built. Watch it from Outside or Inside, we can realize the WOW factor always.

To forget to see 'Palace in its lights'. Again a must see.

“Majestic..!!”
Reviewed 16 December 2013

From my last visit to this place almost 10 years ago, things have changed drastically. A lot of restrictions have been put at this place, and visitors have access to only selected areas inside the palace. But the palace retains its charm. The experience was just as good as it was 10 years ago.

The English audio guide is really worth, if you want to truly experience the palace. But with the audio guide, be prepared to spend a good 2 hours in the palace. So would not recommend if you just wanna breeze through the palace.

Undoubtedly one of the best attractions in Mysore.

“Opulence personified.”
Reviewed 13 December 2013

The tour was done with the aid of an audio guide which worked very well with the numbered locations. The only downside was that photography is not permitted inside.

The Palace is worth sight seeing place. The guide tells the history of palace and royal family is worth. The 3 D paintings on wall are amazing, one has to salute the painter such beautiful 3 D paintings.

“Magnificent attraction”
Reviewed 12 December 2013 via mobile

An absolute must see in Mysore. You can get a real feel for what life in times of the Maharaja 's was like. The only disappointment was that there is no photography allowed inside the palace - you just want to be able to record every detail. You need to arrive earlier than we did (4.30 pm after driving from Bangalore) as after handing in our cameras we were told that they had to be collected again at 6pm (even though the palace itself remains open into the evening on Saturday nights) which meant we had to rush through the palace.

Be prepared to surrender your footwear as well prior to entering the palace.

Unfortunately, when we were there the Indian Govt had declared 5 days of morning to mark the death of Nelson Mandela - which included the cancellation of public celebrations & as such the evening light show was cancelled. Nevertheless the palace was still awesome in daylight.
