This place is most famous for dosas. If you have tried Mylari you can try this place as well. Slightly similar to Mylari dosa. Different taste. Worth the visit.

amazing old old charm and ambiance where you can grab a quick bite or get a meal in peace. authentic south Indian dishes which are prepared in limited quantity. The quality of keseri bath has gone down but still a wholesome experience

GTR is a perennial favorite of most dosa lovers. The place is open for 4 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening only.Do not expect very clean environment. Place has not changed over many decades. dosas are excellant. I prefer the Masala dosa but other varieties are good too. Pricing is very reasonable. Separate room for families is also there but is usually packed. Go here to enjoy "Mysore style" restaurant and traditional dosas without expecting clean environment. Sweets will have dalda taste. Beware.

The online reviews make the place a must visit atleast once in a life time! Nope, not if you are from Bangalore, having fed on a feast of dosas from CTRs, Janathas, and the Vidyarthi bhavans! It was an OK sort of dosa. I guess the south indian feel to the restaurant has been robbed by introducing north indian food as well, including chats! Overall, nothing to drool about, but if you want an evening snack that is "good", then probably a visit to this place would be recommended

It was really good dosa i have ever eaten. Usually in all restaurants dosas will be baked one side and some times not baked properly. But here it was baked both the side and speciallity was like crispy and soft.

Its a must visit to have a wonderful dosa. And don't miss coffee along with Dosa.
