Great food...especially the Special and Limited Thalis. Good value for money. You can go there anytime and great food is guaranteed.

Not to blame the staff but the crowd itself is flowing during tourism season.

Good south Indian vegetarian food reasonably priced.

On our way back from Coonoor we stopped at Dasprakash for lunch. On offer were standard thali/special thali/North Indian thali.
We opted for the special thali consisting of rice, sambhar, rasam, one wet veg,one dry veg, salad, curd, papaddum, gulab jamun, lemon juice & beeda.
The taste and quality were satisfactory, so was the service.
May be my expectation was higher but I found the food just about passable.

Dasprakash is one of the oldest restaurants in Mysore and has still retained the old charm in its ambience. It is a great dining option for breakfast, it specializes in local south Indian cuisine.
Basundi, the most popular sweet dish of Karnataka, is a must try at this restaurant!
