The hote is realy good. the train station pick up timely. Nice pool clean surroundings. very clean room.Good size well kept rooms. Dont expect hotwater on demand
We had to call few times each of the two days to get it going. the food in the buffet lunch was great.some staff apeared greedy for tip. its the only hotel where at pool side i had the most expensive barely cool beer in india. I will never order here a beer. when a hotel calls you to ask for roomservice tells me it's greedy as inmy years of travel this is the only hotel that did it. if you find this helpful let me know. the hotel is easy to find and not far from town center. i dont mind coming back here but will prefer to eat and drink a cool one outside. markup and gauging are two different aspects.

Room Tip: my room faced the pool but i had no issues with noise. over all food prices were steep.

just back from Mysore. Stayed at Sandesh .I didn't find anything exceptionally good or bad about this hotel. We had booked our rooms earlier on and check in was smooth.Must mention here that the lobby is quite impressive. We stayed in a standard room which was ok.Huge windows looking out onto a park was nice.Bathroom was tiny, but clean enough.Though the hotel is centrally located ,you are not disturbed by traffic.Easy access to all major tourist attractions.Staff was polite and helpful.Service prompt and with a smile. We ordered room service couple of times ,it was sent up quite quickly. The restaurant (forgot the name..)is done up very well but somehow the food was a tad disappointing.overall yeah its ok ..

We stayed at this hotel on a tour of South India, on entering one is impressed by the lobby area. The restaurant was very good but the service a bit slow. Staff were all polite but the disappointment was the bedrooms with very cheap towels and bed linen. The swimming pool was clean but a bit small, on the whole we had a comfortable stay but there must be better hotels in the area.

We stayed at the Sandesh the Prince whilst on a 3 week tour of Southern India. From the outside the hotel looked ok and even the reception area was clean and welcoming. However, we found some of the staff to be quite abrupt and rude and the food was of average quality. There were only 5 beds around the pool, yet the hotel was quite full. The restaurant at breakfast was always full around 8 to 9 and you were lucky to get a table. The breakfast selection was distinctly average and we wouldn't stay there again. We have travelled a lot around India and stayed at some wonderful hotels but Sandesh the Prince was definitely not one of the better hotels. The restaurant in the basement was quite acceptable but empty and without any atmosphere. We ate out one night at the Metropole hotel and took a tuc tuc to get there. The food was fantastic there as well at the ambience and service.

Perhaps this one is a bit over priced Not a 5 or 4 star as we were lead to believe. Close to a few attractions such as the mysore palace which is a good visit if you dont mind braving the sun. Average spread for dinner, had lunch from outside during our sightseeing tour. Lots of good eateries around mysore, so you have other options too. Rooms were large decently done. Had a bit of character too. Staff professional not really friendly-friendly. A proper hotel in mysore city. Nothing more, nothing less.

You cant call it 5 star hotel.Rooms does not have proper AC Temp Control , you cant even figure out whats the temperature.Surprisingly they had FANS as well but again no control on the speed. You need to remind them again n again for service request .Food was good though ..

They should look at modernizing the facilities and specially the rooms.
