we booked 3 rooms, all on the first floor they all have amazing views. i was hesitant after hearing mixed reviews here but finally ignored reviews and tried it. i must say u goona spoil urself by staying here that is the only problem.they have huge beautiful rooms and big bathrooms.when i say kingsize i mean king size. and the maintanence of the resort is impeccable even after seeing 200reviews on it. i tell u something ,mysore was otherwise a chaotic city and at places untidy as well.but windflower just outclassed every thing.if u r in mysore just stay here or else u r missing something for sure.i travel abroad many times these kind of luxury and size u dont get anywhere at such price.the restaurant is great for indians especially if u like spicy food else they have so much variety fast food chinese just name it. i can just say ignore the bad reviews and go for it as i did and u gonna be fan of windflowerproperty for sure i have heard they have opened in coorg now that shud be amazing as well.

We were there last weekend. Excellent service. Stayed in the club class suite (which we were led to believe is on the ground floor but is not). The staff is extremely helpful. The restaurant very good for dinner, average breakfast. Kids had a great time with the pet parrot and geese there. We had a group of 6-8 men in the balcony opposite us so it was disconcerting for me (the wife) to hang out in our balcony. A bummer really because their surroundings are beautiful. The balconies face each other and have no privacy. They do not serve coffee/tea in the area downstairs close to the lake/chess play so had to stay in the suite during peak evening hours. Had a lot of hot water issues. The pool was not working. All these were the negatives. The landscaping and service are spectacular. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable and we had great sleep. Hence the high rating. Would stay again but not in the club class suite (was not worth the price).

We just returned back from Wind Flower spa and resort and we already want to go back! It was an amazing place to spend the weekend. It's so beautiful and serene, huge and very well maintained room, really great service with a smile, amazing pool and waterbody, good restaurant....ducks moving around..a cute australian cuckatoo...a huge chess, the list goes on!

My 1.5 yr old kid really enjoyed the place ..he played with the ducks...enjoyed with the cuckatoo...and just played around the green sprawling campus...he doesn't get this kind of play area in bangalore for sure!

My wife just didn't even feel like going out of the resort and wanted to stay back and watch the view from the room and roam around the place..and with the rain drizzing ..it became even more romantic!

The location is also great as it's very close the Mysore zoo..which by the way is really good too and worth a visit while you are there..kids will love it..never seen a zoo which has a giraffe, gorialla, african elephants and so many other exotic birds and animals!

We never thought we could rejuvenate in just one weekend but this place did it for us and for that I would highly recommend it!

The only problem was the pool table and fuss ball were not maintained and need to be replaced..we didn't even had time to play these games but if you stay there for 4-5 days i guess you might want to play..

i had been to the windflower spa resort with my husband in the month of april & stayed there for 2 days.
the resort is magnificent and we just loved the view from the little balcony our first floor room had.
after two days of mysore & Bangalore visit we were genuinely tired & this was the perfect destination to relax & romance.
the atmosphere was tranquil & rows of palm & coconut trees blew the wind well to our tired souls.
ayurvedic massages at their spa was the best part of our entire & adjuscent to the spa, was the pool that could perfectly beat the heat off.

the room was neatly done & the toilets were large enough with option of open showers.

food was fantastic though a bit expensive, specially the souther fried chicken... i still can feel it

Overall I would say this is is a very good mid budget spa resort though spa is the only attraction here. best option would be to do all the sight seeing from a centrally located hotel at the city & then come here for couple of days just for honey, food & wine.

It was the last weekend before schools reopened and we were on the lookout for a destination within driving distance from Bangalore. The idea was to just chill out and relax. Mysore was never on our mind since we had "been there - done that" several times. That's when a friend suggested the Windflower Spa. We logged on to the website , frankly with a bit of scepticism. The website too was not very impressive (the online reservation did not work !), but the photos caught our attention. The mention of a Spa got immediate votes for the place from the ladies ! A quick phone call later, we were off to the Windflower (frankly with not too much expectations). The price was also reasonable (5K per night)

The resort was easy to locate, right at the foothills of the Chamundi Hills, very near (0.4km) to Planet X (an amusement park). We were plesantly surprised by the beauty of the place as soon as we entered the gates. Lots of greenery, quaint structures and a gaggle of geese to welcome us ! My 7 yr old daughter was ecstatic ! An airy, bright reception with smiling staff greeted us as we got out of the cars. Check in was swift and with minimum fuss. The children and ladies were meanwhile busy with "Rosy" a white parakeet prancing around the reception area.

We were then quickly led to our rooms, ground floors of duplex villas. The rooms were mind blowing, huge, airy, spacious, contemporary decor , BIG bathrooms and believe it or not ... an open air shower area (well protected from any peeping toms !). The rooms opened to a garden with comfortable wooden reclining chairs and a duck pond ! The kids were over the moon, literally !

First things first ! After a careful and comprehensive scrutinising the Spa menu and umpteen discussions, Spa bookings were swiftly made - spread over the two days we were there. With the major agenda of the trip taken care of, we then proceeded to the pool. Not very big, but enclosed from all sides by huge walls, with artificial waterfalls on one side, the pool was quite private and enjoyable and different from the regular hotel pools which are surrounded by rooms with absolutely no privacy.

The restaurant and bar also had a casual and outdoor ambience. Food was so-so, but we were so taken in by the beauty, serenity and tranquility of the place, that it really did not matter much. Staff at the restaturants were quite attentive service was reasonably fast.

In between the Spa sessions, we managed to do a bit of cycling, gaming, swimming and jogging. The evenings were spend on the garden chairs with efficient room service ensuring that we had enough to eat and drink. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. You can bring your own alchohol as well. Sittting on the garden chairs in the evening with a drink is a beautiful experience, with the stars shining bright overhead.

Overall, a wonderful place if you just want to relax and pamper yourself. Reasonably priced as well, it was very good value for money.

the swimming pool looks like a water fall. the landscaping is simply amazing.

Thye can do with abtter resaturant with more vegetarin and International cusine options.
