“Best Paneer in town”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

This restaurant offers the best of Paneer in Mumbai. The Dilliwala paneer chilly is their speciality. You should not miss out the bhutta... Great blend of spices on these bhutta make them irresistible. The ambiance is very desi and its a great family hangout place..

“Best of Punjabi cuisine - loved it”
Reviewed 10 June 2013

This restaurant is located in the food court of R-Mall Mulund, the ambiance is simply great. Designed typical to replicate a dhaba, it takes you back to mid 70's and 80's a beautiful atmosphere this. The furniture are rough wooden chairs and tables, seating is comfortable, the staff are dressed up in traditional Punjabi costume, service is good. Food quality and taste was very good indeed, chicken shorma is must try, the food is served in traditional steel plates and glasses. The chicken / fish starters (tikkas & kababs) are awesome - Bar attached. Check this out.

“Nice Ambeience..Food OK..Service Needs Improvement...”
Reviewed 9 June 2013

With my old parents, young children and friends, me & my wife visited this place recently.
1. This place has nice Dhaba-style ambience. The sitting place is wooden-bench type, Menu-card written on a wooden slate, plates in copper/bronze. There are many decorative old-time items are put on shelf, like, Old Sewing-Machine, Old Radio-Set, various Old vessels, colourful Bangle-Set, Big Dhol and many more..So, the restaurant set-up, ambience and environment is really nice.
2. The cuisine is north-indian. The portion served is not big..they are rather small. Pls place order accordingly.
3. In starters, we ordered Chicken Tikka (Good), Paneer Tikka (Good), Corn Palak Tikki (Avg) and Tandoori Mushroom / Baby Corn (Not good). The starter portion is very small.
4. Tamatar Shorba in soup was very good. Mocktail options are limited and are average in taste.
5. In main course we ordered Butter-chicken (Good), Sarsoon Da Saag (Excellent), Paneer Butter Masala (Very Good), Aloo Jeera (Good), Yellow Dal (Excellent). Makkey Ki Roti (Excellent), Tandoori Roti (Very good) and Aloo-Chole Ki Biryani (Excellent)..The average price is INR 200/- per dish.
6. In desserts, we tried hot Jalebi with rabari (Very Good). In the end, they serve Jaggary/Gur, which is good for digestion & serve in a nice weighing-scale model.
7. But where they needs to improve a lot is their service. Its slow and staff needs training to be more courteous and make their clients feel important.
8. So overall, if you want to have punjabi food with good ambience, then you can visit this place..And If they improve their service then it can be a very good place.
