I stayed here for two nights for a business purpose. The room were spacious and beds were comfortable too. The food menu is quite decent. Lots of business delegates come here. The corridors are bit narrow and one can easily get lost in the maze of the whole thing as most rooms are diagonal. The bathrooms were not as spacious as the rooms Overall decent experience

The rooms are smaller. The bed was very big. The room in itself was small, yet comfortable with a couch in it. The hotel was undergoing renovation, so some of the parts were off limits.

Room service food was great. I do recommend the dum biriyani. The breakfast buffet was below standard.

Overal good hotel if you are on a tighter budget.

Room Tip: Rooms on the road side have a peaceful view.

Enjoyed my stay here recently and it was fabulous. Hotel is clean and service is top class. I think it is the best for the rate and you can take SeaLink over to Bandra, US Embassy and Juhu area. It's located in quiet neighborhood and you could walk out of the hotel over to the shore line in 2 minutes. You would have to take cab an hour drive if you want to reach Gateway of India. I had no complaint during my 2 day stay with them. Their suite room is an ideal size for 3 people which can easily fit 4. A+++++

We booked a room for two people at HillTop from our company. They first assumed it would be two guys and made the booking accordingly. When we turned up there, they refused to accept their mistake and kept talking about the room being for two guys. When we finally asked what we could do now, they asked for id. I gave my drivers license and then they said the names didn't match.
They wanted my last name to match my husband's name and said they can give us the room only if we were married. Apart from the highly moralistic attitude, how can they expect every woman to change her name? And this was a corporate booking, so they shouldn't have been asking such questions to start with.
The man at the desk, Gladson, had no training in hotel management and flatly said he needs my name to match my husband. there is no duty manager and we asked him to get someone senior, who finally told him to give us the room.
But no way are we going to Live in a place that won't give us a corporate booking room because our names don't match each other

We would like to bring to the notice to the writer of this mail that when the booking for the room was given by the booker the mail sent to us was to confirm a double room for the duration of the stay at our hotel, no guest name were disclosed in the mail, our reservation Manager Ms Henrietta, spoke to the booker and he verbally give her 2 names himself Roshan Mohan & Amulya Nagaraj. when she asked him if they were male or a couple he replied to the fact that the room booking was for two males and not a couple hence the booking was confirmed.

The confirmation sent by our reservations Manager by email was for Mr Roshan & Mr Amulya Nagaraj.. Kindly note that even at that time there was no response or mail from the booker's side correcting the same and stating that there was a mistake in the confirmation and one of the guest is a lady and not a gent, the only reply we got by mail was thanking us for the confirming the booking and that they will be arriving by 9 pm. the second mail we received stated that they were running a bit late and will be at the hotel by 10:30 pm.

As per our hotel policy if the booking is for couples then both should have the valid id proofs in which both peoples surnames should match. As we are a corporate hotel and do not confirm couple booking other than husband and wife both having valid id proofs wherein both
should have matching surnames. The hotel has the right to refuse room booking even if made by corporate companies if they are not convinced that the guests are indeed a married couple.

We would also like to bring to the notice of the sender of this mail that in fact it was a person from your group under the influence of alcohol was abusive and insulting using foul language, with our front office staff Mr Glasnso / Mr Louis when they refused to allot the room,
the person even went to the length of saying that he will call the police and lodge a complain for refusing rooms and wanted to use our telephone to lodge the complain !!!

We would also like to inform the sender of this mail that the footage of whatever transpired during the check in / arrival/ departure of the group has been recorded on camera and is in our possession.

Regards
Hiltop Hotel

The hotel is very unprofessionally managed, we asked for the taxi to pick up from Airport, they send a Tata Sumo with having defund AC service. The driver was very unfriendly and they charge hefty amount of Rs. 1000.00 + whereas the nornal taxi charge is Rs.400.00. They say they are located at off Sea Link but only a very small portion of sea link is visible from my room no 503 which they said is their best room. Most of the popular TV channels are blocked, the lift is very scary and out fashioned, the corridors are very narrow, The room looks like a room of Dharamshala and not a hotel. the washroom is too small, locationwise also it is not very advisable to stay.

Room Tip: I can not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel if you have better choice.

Sir,
We would like to inform you that in our mail to you, we have specified the charges for pick up and drop from our hotel to the domestic airport and back. it is you who did agree to the same, if you had wanted a taxi the same were available to you at the airport,
The vehicle which was sent to get you from the airport was the hotels Toyota Qualis and not a Sumo, the Ac in the car is a very powerful one and the same is working very well, after your complain we had the Ac checked it was working perfectly. Kindly note that pick up and drops for all guests staying at our hotel are done in the same Toyota Qualis also executives from your company too.
Your booking was for an standard room but we upgraded you to an executive room at no extra cost, The room in which you were staying is one of the larger rooms size measuring 16 by 12 feet and a bathroom space separately measuring 8 x 5 feet with all the latest toiletries placed in the bathroom including a hair dryer, these rooms being one of the biggest in our category of hotels.
As to you grouse regarding the sea link, yes we are off the Worli Sea link as mentioned in our address and not on the sea link itself and most of the rooms facing the sea do have a partial sea view.
The Hotel has been in existence for the last 50 years and yes we do agree that the corridors are narrow but two people can walk comfortably side by side in these corridors.
As to your remark regarding the elevators we would like to put it on record that both the elevators are in sound condition and inspection of the same is done on a regular basis,
besides one is a Schindler elevator and the other one being an Otis elevator the best in the industry.
As for the location, let me inform you that we are located at a very up market, quiet serene and peaceful area and situated almost midway between the suburbs and the city, hence most of our guests find the hotel very central and convenient for them.

And finally we would be very happy and would like to know which 5/ 4 star Dharamshala you have stayed at which offer you these kind of facilities

Thanking you

Hotel Hilltop is at a good location at off Worli Sea Face near Bandra-Worli sea link. Hotel ambience is good. There rooms are partially sea facing with some part of sea link visible. In room comfort is average and kind of toiletteries they provide you is not of good standard. I stayed at their Standard room, may be executive rooms would be better. Food is not worth of its price. There spread of buffet is limited with only Marathi & south Indian touch.
In room service is good. Staff is co-operative. Another good part is they provide free internet in lobby to all the guests.

Room Tip: Try to take execuitive room and ask for sea facing.
