Popular because of great location and access to beach. The hotel managements heart is in the right place but professionally they are just not cut for the task, especially during weekends when lot of guests arrive. Food is simple, homely but not great value for money. Also it will take at least 60 minutes after order....and they do warn you about it. Note there is no room service except tea and coffee. It is a nice place to lie in Hammock and hear the waves and bat balls rackets are available to play. Rooms are average, but time is spent mostly on the Garden and hammocks outside. Have reasonable expectations and do not expect the moon....you will have good time. Go with a loved one or friends.

Room Tip: Villas facing the beach are good....numbers 4 or 5

Manori is a quaint village just outside Mumbai. If one takes the ferry from Marve beach (Malad), one enters a rural world at the other end of the short ferry ride. The road trip to Manori is much longer but is also a very scenic drive past the villages of Utan and Gorai. Manoribel has been around for a long time and I have visited it many times over the years. It is quire reasonably proced, rooms are decent and food is freshly made. Perfect place to go to for a weekend getaway or even a day picnic with family

A good resort for a weekend outing. Best part about it is easy access from Mumbai which takes just 15mins from marve. Place is full of greenery and close to the beach. We found it one of the best resorts located in the island.
They have some indoor fun activities however should improve the food quality.

Its a lovely place very close to Mumbai and yet away from the city's hustle. Its a great place to hang out for a day with a bunch of friends. The place is full of trees and so its cool even in scorching summer, beach is clean, restrooms could be a bit better...and it also has facilities for Table tennis, badminton and carrom.

The place is situated very well on the island. And compared to other resorts on Manori (like Domnicas), it's really good.

The ambiance, food, rooms are all very good. But I feel it's a bit over priced, especially the food.
We stayed in a cottage (# 7) and the arrangements are very nice; Absolutely neat and clean.

It's right on the beach so access is really good. Security is not a concern.

Room service is very limited.

Indoor games include, badminton, table-tennis, carom and Foosball. They also provide equipment for, cricket and football.

The restaurant is greatly placed (has a beach view) and has decent menu (nut over priced).

They have placed hammocks in their garden area, also a machann (or tree-house); which is a great place to laze around, with a direct view of the beach.

Overall it's a really good resort.

Room Tip: it's a place for couple as you get freedom and exclusivity. Good for 1 or 2 days trip only. Don...

Being near to and easily accessible from Mumbai [via Marve Ferry], Manoribel should be an ideal place for a short and refreshing weekend/holiday break. Whilst the beach is quite clean and serene with a few rocks jutting in between and sea receding in low tide, the resort could do well to improvise its amenities and adopt a more friendly client oriented approach. What it gains in its ambiance and location ,reasonable food, it loses out of lack of essential services that the holiday makers would expect at its minimum. The absence of any room service,no online booking, coffee/tea maker, essential toiletries, and lack of warmth from most of the employees are an important downsides of this sea side idyll. If one is ready to scale down the expectations, then one can just find it okay..

This retreat is very close to Mumbai. Yet it seems like a distant place altogether. They own a private beach which is well maintained and clean. Also, the food they serve in the restaurant is tasty and sumptuous.

The only miss is for their room ambience. Did not find it worth the money charged. Maybe if they would have included at least the breakfast in the tariff, they had get an extra star in the rating.
