Very good rooms and service...Nearby local market and restaurants are there...Perfect stay...you can bargain on rates a little...centrally placed...Free Wi-Fi...Breakfast and Airport drop was included in the room price...one special thing...One Kulfi wala near Marol naka...walking distance from hotel...You will find him only in nights but huge crowd around him makes you feel like he is selling in free...different ice cream with flavours awesome...Restaurant in the hotel is very good and affordable...in all...Nice and pleasant stay...

Room Tip: First or second floor...

Ashwin is typical hotel of this range.
Good enough to stay for one night to catch the next day flight. Close to both domestic and international airport (15-20 m drive), airport pick up and drop off options were winner for us.
We have booked this hotel last minute on our way from Goa and made a phone call to arrange pick up. Everything went smoothly even we were delayed.
The hotel is about one hour drive to Colaba, touristy spot in Mumbai. If you have all day to kill it could be quiet handy as there is nothing to do around the hotel area.
Do not get transport through the hotel as it is way overpriced. Just stop the taxi on the road and it will cost you 500 instead of 1.500.
We only had breakfast and it was below ok but cannot tell about dining.
Beds are hard, but that’s the standard for India.
Room was not as nice as on photos but clean.
In my opinion the hotel is overpriced but so is Mumbai.

Good luck

well I read many negative reviews before writing this one...but would like to state it as a good and average kinda place to stay in Mumbai and specially if you have to stay in the city for a long time (2-3 weeks). We got a triple sharing room which was really very comfortable as in space and ventilation. ACs were perfect. But beds were little short for us (a little uncomfortable)..obviously they have a limited menu in complimentary breakfast and quality was also very basic. Reception staff was very helpful and courteous. Kitchen get closed by 11 but if you speak politely and request, you can get Biryani & tea at 1 a.m. also. Location is perfect, if you traveling on a low budget you can sight nearby local restaurants for veg/non veg meals. Best part was, they have limited interference in your stay. you can bring food/liqour from outside without any objection. ATM and market are just walkable. situated right beside Marol Fire Station, so issues with location if you are new...

Overall, A good average hotel for budget specific travelers.

Most unfriendly reception. Room sizes are big but the quality of furniture is third rated. Terrible traffic noise even during the nights. Those who book online will have tough time. Quality of break-fast is not palatable.

Room Tip: You may get better hotel for this price

we stayed at this hotel for one night in august , at the recommendation of makemy trip at the mumbai airport. This hotel is in a very dirty neighborhood, overpriced for what if offers. Our price was supposed to include breakfast, but in morning even at 8am, they said the cook is still not there so we can only have bread. Coffee was literally instant coffee powder added to hot water. I felt ripped off by makemytrip as well as the hotel.

Staying in Andheri has its disadvantages. You wont get good value for money in budget hotels is one.

Hotel Ashwin is you typical hotel which borders on being categorized as a lodge. The hotel has sub-par rooms, not so decent ambience, a congested yet centralized location near to the airport.

All in all its one when you would want to bunk if you are tight on the budget. You will get rooms starting from 2.5k.

Room Tip: Do not take road facing rooms, else you'll feel like sleeping on the road.

Was offered this hotel for Rs 2500 one night by the airport hotel booking kiosk at Sahar International. Took it as a place to put head down before flying onwards the next day. Big mistake. All electrical fittings are lose and shoddy. Wires hanging loose and some repaired wires not even tied in, just hanging loose. AC is a big box type outside the window and makes a lot of noise and blows dust in. Bathroom is rank with crumbling grout in between dirty tiles. No air circulation. door rotting. Bed linen looked and felt dusty and unclean.

At 2:00 am i felt hungry having not had any dinner and jet lagged. I ordered room service of puri bhaji and a coke. It took 30 mins to arrive but I must admit that it was the best puri bhaji i have ever eaten at 2:00 am.

But I wont ever step into this place again. Just not a place for an international traveler.
