Old building new hotel. Do not judge a book by it's cover. It's old but classic old, this is one of those building you could just fall in love to it's character and charm. Got to love the view, the room view really shows the true character of india. Would definitely recommend to people who travel for experience without loosing comfort.

This Hotel is conveniently located from Mumbai's Intl Airport and is a perfect place for International Passengers who want a short layover. The room is clean and so is the bathroom.

The highlight of the Hotel is the Free Pick and Drop to the Airport. Makes it so much easier for people who are not familiar with Mumbai's topography.

The morning breaskfast is quite decent and is also free. All in all, a good place for short business stay.

This hotel is very good for a one night stopover, could be also booked for a longer duration. Staff were friendly and professional. Free pick up and drop was also fantastic. Not far from the International airport or the domestic Airport. Free breakfast was also nice but could have had more variety. Was a good stay and would recommend anyone to stop by and visit the hotel. Ipod control was something new to see.

Hotel is located on the road towards mumbai international airport, very crowded and dirty (as is most of mumbai), but overall not much problem to commute.
Overall Ambiance - Looks like an average 3star hotel, nothing great to comment, but nothing too bad also.
Checkin - Had to change room 3 times - reason, first I was alloted a very small room (then on pointing to Reception that I had booked there biggest suit) they changed to a room which was little bigger but still did not look like the picture in the website, then once again had to point out and most reluctantly was i moved the room which I had booked (Total time take approx 40min).
Room has an Ipod control system which works on wifi, had some issues in connecting and 3 employees of the hotel took another 45min to sort this out - total 1hr 25min since i reached hotel i was finally alone in my room. Overall room is clean, towels are clean nothing great to mention.
Breakfast - Just average spread not too many options considering they are charging almost 80% of what nearby 5star hotels charge with much better service and choices.
Now comes the best experiance - at 5am, hotel employees (Breakopen) the electronic lock of the room with tools, am still inside sleeping, along with an african woman who claims it is her room so they had no choice but to break open the lock.......can someone advise me if we can sue the hotel for this action in India??
I can see this african woman looking at my luggage along with 2 hotel employees to varify it that is her bag (now i am no one to question from where she was coming at 5am that also to find her bag and checkout) but i feel some of stuff was stolen.......
Guy who broke the lock, guy who was along with him and Person incharge of reception - no answer to why this happened leave aside the apology, only once i complained to GM about this at time of checkout around 11am did they accept that it was a serious mistake, GM offered to amend by clearing the room service bill for dinner which is a decent gesture.

Will i go back to this hotel - Never, Will i recommend this hotel to anyone - Never.
But its your individual choice.......

I have been once to this hotel... When i entered room..there was 2 packets of lays and dry fruits... i consumed one packet each... but was charged for all during check out... i replied that they can check the room... packets are still there but they said no any packet is there.....
Also i called 4-5 times for WiFi connection but no any action was taken... when i told about it in reception ...they said that it is complimentary...
They should only charge what i order.. during check-in there behavior was good but during checkout suddenly it changed... thats too bad... they should treat well their customers...

Room Tip: Always treat your customers well... do not cheat for some little bucks...

My first stay at Suba was so good that even after having to wait for the pick-up, I booked again. This time the air-port pick-up was perfect. This hotel is clean and very convenient for transit passengers. Apart from good food quality, good wake-up call and airport transfer service, I wish to voice my two major disappointments as below.

First, the room did not had iPod control, as advertised. This just doesn't feel good at all. It may not get you in any inconvenience, but the charm is loosing.

BBC world television channel was not available because not subscribed. When enquired, it is surprising that an international standard hotel like Suba answers that we have other news channels, so we did not subscribe for BBC. When I insisted, a house keeping personnel promised me that I will be able to see BBC News within half an hour. It never happened.

Dear Suba, please pull up your socks and get back the charm you always had.

I only stayed at this hotel overnight, checked in after dinner and checked out after breakfast. Checking in was efficient, Room was large. I liked how you control every thing in the room from an Ipod. I checked out before breakfast, and the checkout and free drop off to the airport were also very efficient. Will definitely stay there again.
