The reviewer (Patrick) before me is pretty "spot on" and i rather focus on other tips for travellers and avoid duplication.
It is 5 mins walk to the Gateway and many of the westernised restaurants like Moshe, Indigo which is mentioned in many guidebooks on Mumbai (however pricey compared with local food and to cater for the international tourists and well heeled locals).
Also near to the Coloba shopping street and many side street bazaars for local colours and food (if you got strong guts) and the far end of that road is Sassoon Docks where fishermen bring their catch to Mumbai.
Also 10 mins walk to the buzz around Victoria (Train) Terminus where there is both designer and street market/peddlars.
Its a 15 mins to right of hotel to Nariman Point where there is a different sort of crowd and a promenade to watch people and fitness crowd.
The room has aircon (but no control) and a fan and it can be uncomfortable if you cannot control the temperature. There is a window to see the outside world (but side of other buildings rather).
Here are few more pictures of the hotel. I would come back for its basic accomodation and cleanliness.
