In Mumbai you bump into tars are many places but this place in Bandra you definitely get to see many and enjoy some real good shows of theater. Many budding and talented artists has made this there home and for the right reason

“Old fashioned plays”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

Unlike the razzmatazz of NY or London this is an old fashioned theatre- semi circular - you are very close to the stage and it shows lovely plays of all variety - in hindi, english - - the atmosphere is very informal and it is a great evening out

“Buzzing Cultural Hub”

A great place to visit. The cafe outside serves good, cheap food but the real attraction is sitting outside soaking up the artistic vibe and watching Mumbai's theatre-types go about their business over Prithvi's famous Irish Coffee (difficult to find elsewhere in the city). The theatre itself is a nice space with a thrust stage and cool air-conditioning. For some bizarre reason, Indians prefer to sit near the back so even if you are at the back of the queue, you'll usually find a good seat. Some (most) of the theatre here is truly excellent but there's a healthy mix of less than engaging performances - the only thing that lets it down.

“Must visit!”
Reviewed 30 October 2013

Small theater with a cozy feel. Excellent plays hosted and a past with a historical legacy. The tickets are cheap and at least 1-2 plays are hosted each day. There is a small library of books and a wonderful cafe lined with trees in the front yard. Located in the heart of Juhu!

What a super informal theater treat in Mumbai, loved the Parathas at their Cafe apart from their famous coffee.
