Most of the public are not aware of this Beach, you will enjoy a lot on this beach. you can play cricket/football. These are available on rent at shops over there. you will find this place far clean then Juhu beach. Try going early in the morning to enjoy a lot. I have been there many times and love to do same.

“Aksa Beach - A Get-Away!”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

Being one of the cleaner beaches of Mumbai, Aksa beach located in Malad region of Mumbai, brushes strokes of freshness over you. If you’re a morning person do catch up the beautiful panorama of the glorious sun slowly emerging out of the water. Do be careful about going into the waters – the tides are tricky. Some decent places to stay nearby are available – so this could be a week-end get-away for people staying in Mumbai!

“Aksa Beach- very much in Mumbai but still uncrowded and easy to reach.”
Reviewed 5 September 2013

Aksa beach is my favorite destination in Mumbai. It is in Malad. Even though it is in crowded Malad, The beach is totally different. You can reach here by your private vehicles or there are Buses plying from Malad( 271) and Borivali (269). Bothe the buses terminate at Madh. You can also go there from Andheri. You can reach till Varsova catch a small ferry boat to reach Madh. The distance between Madh and varsova is very lettle. It takes hardly 2 minutes to cross the creek.

Aksa Beach is not crowded at all . It is vary safe beach throughout the day. Its beautiful. You just dont feel like leaving it. But sort of Warning. Even though you are tempted to enter in the sea, please don't do it as it is known for Sinking sand .Many cases are reported when people standing in knee deep water suddenly found themselves standing in 10 to 12 feet deep water. the cases of drowning are very common here. If you take this care, there is no place in Mumbai like Aksa Beach to enjoy for a whole day.

“Mini Alibagh in Mumbai”
Reviewed 25 August 2013

I had never heard about this place before. I visited it with my friend for the 1st time. Though reaching this place from Malad Station takes about 40-45 mins and costs 100 rs. in the auto, this place is not worth missing if you are one of those guys who loves to lay leisurely on a beach playing with the water.

When this beach is compared with Juhu or Girgaon Chowpatty which are the famous beaches in Mumbai, I would rather say that Aksa beach surely wins among all the 3 beaches in terms of the cleanliness on the beach. One of the reasons can be that not many people know about this place so few people visit this place and moreover this place is also faraway from the station. So less number of people, less pollution on the beach and hence the more cleaner than the other beaches in town.

One another notable thing about this beach was that there are lifeguards places throughout the border of the sea and the beach which I haven't seen elsewhere on any beach. One of the reasons could be the dangerous beach which would in no matter of time rise high and cause damages. A few incidents might have also occurred in the past because of which these strict actions have been taken.

Concluding, I am definitely going to come to this beach again bringing a new set of friends with me to make them realize that a city like Mumbai can also have a clean beach along it's coast.
