“Pleasant memories”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

It used to b a clean and wonderful beach and could have remained the same provided human civilization gets civilized.
These days people are all ready to visit these places, with friends with family but i wish the way they decorate themselves to look happening if only they could have kept the beach looking the same beautiful and clean.

too many stupid crowd around is really stealing the beauty of this wonderful beach.

“My Favorite”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

This is one of the most cleanest beach you’ll find in Mumbai. For the past 2 years it has been my favorite place to unwind. The atmosphere here just cleans your mind. Aksa beach sunsets are really special, I've seen some astonishing sunsets here at Aksa.

This beach is slowly developing into a hot tourist destination. The darker side, people are littering everywhere. You’ll find whiskey and beer bottles lying here and there alongside plastic bags and waste eatables.

Safety is has become another concern. They are police constables posted at the beach, but they aren't really standing there always. I say this because the last time I was there, I was giving a tour to my 2 female friends who visited Aksa for the first time, just because I praise it a lot, I was clicking pictures when I noticed a large group of men (from UP) were clicking there photographs and recording them in there mobile phones. This led to an heated argument and there were no cops to be found, so we forced to back off! This incident left me really ashamed and embarrassed because I was the one to take them there.

Astonishing sunsets
Good atmosphere
Water is cleaner then found on other known beaches
Good variety of eatables at the beach
Good place for family fun
Fun Games for kids up to 4-5 years (On Weekends and Holidays)

“One of the Best & Clean Beaches in Maharashtra”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2014

Aksa beach undoubtedly one of the best beaches in Maharashtra. It is very clean and one can find a large variety of snails and shells. It is a popular weekend destination with youngsters. It is not safe to swim as the currents are strong and the sands of the beach keep shifting because of the waves. Views of sunset and sunrise from this beach are awe-inspiring.

“Beach Boy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014

Have spend my childhood on this beach...... This beach is attracted by nearly 15000 people coming by only on week ends ., uffff .... quite a few :) but the enjoyment wht you get when ur in it is not comparable to anything.
You will now find a few cottages that have mushroomed up which lease's out on a daily basis. But do remember YOU HAVE TO BARGAIN.,
As its located in the interiors of Malad, I would recommend to come on this beach a bit early so you can enjoy to the fullest.
To watch a sunset is always a Pleasure at any Beach and so is it at Aksa Beach as well.
As the Sun set down one can enjoy array of Chats by various counters that located on the beach.
But the taste of a sip of Tea after you come out of the beach., I bet it feels like a Medicinal Bliss :)
