Place is only to make money, will charge even for the 6 months old baby everywhere, even for the entrance.if you want to feed fish 1 cut slice of bread cost for 10 rs,same for other things.I visited this place 2 times in a gap of 5 years, both the times fish aquarium where you can see fishes in the tanks where they charge differently were into maintanence.I dont know why cant they mention it out before charging. People sitting at the counter dont have any manners to take with females or with anyone, dont give change even for 100rs note. I saw one female carrying a bread packet in her bag,the guy sitting at the counter insulted her and asked to keep the bag out even when she said the packed is for her personsal use and not to feed. That guy still argued and asked her to move out or leave the bag out.

It's not amazing, but having a man-made pond with an okayish aquarium, caged animals like rabbits, toy train and food stall in the heart of Mumbai is something else! Recommended visit by anyone staying in the city. But if you're an outsider and are here for just a couple of days, skip it.

Otherwise - it will come as a massive surprise to most Mumbaikars :)

Warning: There are NO dolphins in this place! Just saying, in case you were expecting them!

Was pleasantly surprised to read about this place in the newspaper on occassion of No TV day ...bit of a task finding it in the narrow lane and parking is another issue. Interesting mix of domestic and farm animals - all the way from the Emu who has outgrown his pen to the tiny guinea pigs; there are big fish, turtles and ducks in the mini man made lake; about 60+ varieties of fish in individual tanks, some hens, pigeons, birds and pheasants in cages... definitely worth a visit with young ones, more educative and interactive than a trip to the mall! There is the snack counter serving drinks, chips nd of course the Bombay sandwich and prob other hot snacks too. Wish the Local MLA would spend some of his community funds to improve and promote this quaint mini zoo located and tucked away in the middle of a residential area.
The loos are Indian style and again happy to report - there were freshly washed and had running water. There is a toy train too!!
