The building architecture, the Ganpati shrine and statue, the faith, the people, everything is beautiful.
The only thing one could do without is the push and the pull.

Visit to Mumbai is not complete without a visit to this famous temple. unless we go early in the morning or late in the nights and avoid week ends,, we have to stand in a long winding line and it may take hours to get darshan. Once you enter the temple, better to stand at a distance in front of the great GOD and not go near the idol as we will get pushed and pulled. Thousands come to this temple every day as power of the presiding deity SHREE SIDHIVINAYAK is simply unbelievable. This temple has grown over the years in structure and facilities made available to devotees but still the crowd becomes unmanageable, thanks to the devotion and faith of the devotees and powerful blessings of this GOD

One of the most beautiful temples situated in Mumbai. 'Phool Gali' is a street filled with various stalls that leads towards Siddhivinayak Temple. The shopkeepers on this street sell fresh flowers, sweets, coconuts and many other 'Puja' accessories which one can buy on their way to the temple for offering to the Lord. As Tuesday is considered to be a special day for Lord Ganesh devotees, 'Aartis' are performed inside the temple which is flocked by devout worshipers. During 'Sankashti Chaturthi' and 'Angaraki', a large number of devotees gather to attend the special events held within this temple.

To a few it is just a temple but some others believe your wishes are fulfilled by visiting the temple.
I would advise you to visit the temple on days other than Tuesday, weekends & holidays to avoid the heavy rush.

Very disciplined temple. The cleaniness is admirable. With Rs 50/ ticket one can avoid long que. There is no long waiting in front of deity. One can offer puja & walk out in 10 mts. There is no extorsion of money as done in many temples in India.
