Check-in and staff:
We arrived at the Citizen late one evening for a one night stay. On arrival, the staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was painless and we were promptly shown to our rooms that were interconnecting (208-209).
Room 209 was clean and comfortable but not very spacious. It had a sea view and you could hear the waves breaking onto the beach. It also had a flat screen tv with lots of different channels to choose from. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was compact but functional. The hot water arrangement was a little unusual as you had to switch it on to heat up 20 minutes prior to use.
We then headed down to the restaurant that looks out over Juhu beach. The menu had plenty of choice we had a very enjoyable meal before having drinks on the terrace that boarders the sandy beach which was a great place to relax.
Breakfast can be taken out on the beachside terrace. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice of Indian and European.
Location for the beach.
Clean and comfortable.
Noise from staff out in the corridor early morning.
Very close to airport so aircraft noise taking off through the night could be heard.
