“Nice Hotel”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

It is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The ambiance is good. Food quality is great. Airport is not far away. It has a nice restaurant in and has excellent ambiance. Staff attitude is excellent but food service is slightly slow which is fairly compensated by good quality food.Only thing is that surrounding is crowded.

Room Tip: Rooms on top floors are quite.

The restroom-bar called 'Wild Orchid' at the ground floor of this restaurant is quite popular, judging by the packed house on Saturday night. I was told that this has emerged as the most popular hangout in Chembur. The crowd was remarkably decent & well behaved, unlike in various other better known joints in Mumbai. The music was a nice mix of international & Bollywood; with the DJ keeping the crowd on their feet. The place, though a bit cramped, is done quite tastefully. The bar is well stocked & is very reasonably priced. The bar staff need to hone their mixing skills though. It's always good to see the restaurant manager (Sachin in this case), being hands on & making sure everything was done rightly. This close & on-premise monitoring will go a long way in keeping this place safe for unaccompanied women guests, individual & in all women groups; of whom I could see a large number.
The most pleasant surprise was the quality of finger food & the fairly crisp service, despite the crowds. The sautéed fish with a hint of black beam sauce was fantastic & so was the chicken. The place had geared up for the FIFA World Cup & had a fair number of TV's. All in all a good place to hangout. Hope to return someday, as I've some very dear friends staying in Chembur. Recommended for anyone who wants to hangout in Chembur.

You are in bombay, You cant expect too much from an average hotel . I chpse this place when i was taking my wife for a getaway to mumbai .

The rooms are small . But its mumbai so its ok. At least the windows are soundproof, thankfully because there is a train station right next to this place which can be really noisy.

The breakfast buffet is good according to the hotel, The staff is courteous .

We spent good time here , though we were not there for a long time as we were sight seeing mumbai . but the time we were here was good.

I have stayed at this hotel few times. I have to stay it's a very well maintained. Staff are very courteous. Breakfast is very elaborate.

They have offered free two way airport transfers + breakfast and Internet in the package.

Don't forget to try dinner at the "vindhyas" restaurant.

Spent a couple of nights here and chose it exclusively for its closeness to the domestic airport (500 m away).
It has a good breakfast buffet. Meals are also fine.
The room was clean, well lit and nice, but the bed was another story: a mattress on top of a bottom box. Not very comfortable (probably good for my back but not for my spirits).
The shuttle to local airport and from the international one was complimentary!
I have stayed here several times since 2006, and although it is a great hotel, the bed issue troubled me this time.

Room Tip: Non smoking rooms.

I stayed here for 2 nights on 27 and 28 Jan, 2014

The hotel is located very close to the airport. Very easy to check in and leave out. What to say .. I did not like the rooms. Its good, no doubt, but can be better. The air conditioner makes an irritating noise, some rumbling noise. But I did sleep well. The decor could be better. It looked little dated and needed a change.

The breakfast buffet is excellent. Ample choice. The lobby is excellent. plenty for places to sit. The restaurant on the ground floor is good ; but very very costly. I had a Japanese guest with me for dinner. Frankly it turned out to be very expensive. Though we did not eat much.

I will definately stay in this hotel again, without doubt again, if I have the opportunity again.
